In Detail The Body Shop Natural Lip Roll On Rose Review and My Experience

This lip balm comes in a pretty little container through which I can look inside and know how much of the product is left. The unique thing about the packaging is the metal roll on tip at the applicator end. This was one of the reasons why I went back to this product specially now during the summers.

How I Use it

I just apply the lip balm on my bare lips with the metal end. When you go side to side on the lips while applying, the metal ball rolls and dispenses more product, just enough to quote the lips properly.

It actually smells like roses which I really like. The consistency of this lip balm is different from our usual waxy lip balms. This one is slightly more liquidy and sticky so that it stays on the lips properly.

Now, coming on how it works, well I was kind of disappointed. Like I was expecting this to really moisturise my lips however, this was not as much moisturising. Plus the staying power of this lip balm was way less. This stayed on me for approximately 30-45 minutes which I know is absolutely crazy. These are basically 2 of my major concerns with this liquid lip balm. Though I do realise that liquid lip balms tend to have lesser staying power than the waxy ones, 30 minutes was too less.

On the positive side, this is made of all natural ingredients and so we are not putting any unwanted chemicals on our pouts. But I feel in today’s competitive market, there are ample number of companies making natural products. So TBS should probably step up its game with this product specially by improving the formula, make it more moisturising and longer staying.

PROs of The Body Shop Natural Lip Roll On Rose

1. I love the metal tip applicator, gives a cooling sensation on the lips.
2. Smells of roses which is awesome.
3. Upon application, gives a smooth glossy look.
4. Made of all natural ingredients and TBS does not test on animals.

CONs of The Body Shop Natural Lip Roll On Rose

1. Does not moisturise as much as we would expect a normal lip balm to do.
2. Short staying power of approximately 30 minutes.
3. Needs frequent re-application.

MBF Advices

1. This is not going to cure chapped lips, so if you have really dry lips, this is probably not the best choice of lip balm.
2. This is not suitable to be applied under a lipstick because it is thick and glossy in itself.
3. If you do not mind frequent re-application, have supple lips and of course if you love roses, you will probably like this lip balm.
