How it works

Lemon seed oil is high in anti-oxidants and Vitamin C and helps moisturize and soften the skin.
Lemon peel and exfoliating Community Trade organic sugar helps to polish and remove dead skin cells.
Community Trade organically grown soya oil is rich in essential fatty acids to help restore the skin’s moisture barrier, thus helping to restore moisture and smoothness.

How to Use

Use in the bath or shower. Apply to damp skin in a circular motion, then rinse thoroughly. Use two to three times a week for best results.

In Detail The Body Shop Sweet Lemon Body Scrub Review

Its been quite a while that I have been using this product. First I bought this a couple of months back I guess and I loved it so much that I ended up buying the second tub. So yes, this is my second tub. The scrub comes in a nice tub packaging. I know some people do not like scrubs coming in tubs but personally I like tub packagings over tubes when it comes to scrubs. The reason is, its easier to use and you don’t end up wasting half a product. Because of granular/gritty consistency, scrubs would end up getting a lot more wasted if they were packaed in tubes. Moving on,

What I love probably the most about TBS sweet lemon body scrub is its fragrance. It smells like ultra fresh lemons with peels squished into a pulp, quite literally. I do not notice any other associated smell with it. I just cannot get enough of this pure citrus fresh smell. The texture of this product is quite tricky to describe actually. It has this nice pulpy creamy base with granular scrub particles. The granules are not very edgy harsh, in fact they feel quite nice. I like to use it at least four to five times a week and love how it exfoliates my skin. Does not feel coarse or harsh so beauties with sensitive skin would love it.

Other thing that I really love about TBS sweet lemon scrub is how moisturised my skin feels after washing it off. Although its a citrus scrub and citrus are known to dry out the skin, but contrarily this actually moisturises the skin pretty well. On sunny days, even if I do not use a body moisturiser, I am good to go. This would be great for winters as well because this is going to exfoliate the skin nicely and leave it moisturised.

Overall I would say this is one of my favourite products from The Body Shop and I think I will continue to repurchase this. Good for all skin types and all weathers this is a great pick from TBS.
