How To Use The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Lava Scrub Foam

Dispense an adequate amount and lather fully with water. Massage gently onto the face and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

In Detail The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Lava Scrub Foam Review, Swatches and My Experience

The scrub foam comes in a muddy grey coloured huge tube with pearly white coloured cap which opens and closes with a click. It ensures that the tube is leak proof.

The packaging is very identical to their cleansing foam the only difference is that the cleansing foam is little sleek and lengthy and this scrub foam is short and broader in size.

The tube bears all the information about the scrub that is ingredients, price, expiry, Way to use it etc etc. The tube is bulky so we cannot carry it along with us. Who wants to carry that extra weight in our handbags, no one. Overall the packaging looks good and luxurious.

The texture of the scrub is very creamy and thick. When comes in contact with water it forms a very rich lather. The scrub is light brown in colour with dark brown coloured small beads in it.

The scrubbing granules present in the foam are quite less in quantity compared to the regular scrubs.

When I squeeze a pea size amount on my palms and massage it on my face there is hardly any granules in the scrub and I do not feel like I am scrubbing my face. I really like my scrubs to be very gritty so that I can feel that I have exfoliated my face well, as I have whiteheads as well as blackheads on my nose area. Hence, I scrub my face 3 to 4 times a week.

Some may not like how mild this scrub is, even I don’t like mild scrubs as I mentioned earlier I want my scrubs to be little abrasive. I feel that this is more of a face wash rather than a scrub.

It is definitely not a scrub. In fact I have tried taking a lot of this scrub foam in order to get some granules for proper exfoliation but what it did was, it became really thick and white when I scrubbed it on my face; and it became extremely hard to remove every trace of that lather from my face.

The fragrance is kind of floral which is really surprising as it does not smell ashy or muddy or anything because it has jeju mud as its key ingredients.

Post usage, face definitely feels clearer and smoother. There was no dryness. In fact this scrub is very moisturising. Our dry skin girls will enjoy using it. It does not strip off all the moisture from my skin. It is little bit more moisturising than their cleansing foam.

It does helps to remove dry patches from certain areas because of its moisturising properties. Pea size amount of the scrub foam is more than enough for thorough cleansing. And, with this much amount needed, it will last you for quite a few months or year depending on your usage.

It did not break me out which is a very big thing for me. As I get breakouts really easily after using new skincare products. The brand claims that it helps in controlling sebum which is true, but is absolutely does nothing to blackheads, whiteheads or dead skin cells.

Also, only claims of controlling sebum, providing smoother complexion and removing impurities is true else everything is rubbish. I keep switching it with the cleansing foam from this range as I want to finish this and not waste it.

• Overall it is good option as a face wash one cannot use it as a scrub as the granules are very scanty to be used as a scrub.
• If you are planning to buy something from this range you can buy their facewash or this scrub foam both performs equally same but I will recommend you to buy their cleansing foam as that is much better than this.
