How to Use The Face Shop Lemon Real Nature Face Mask

1. Wash face and apply toner. Remove mask from packet and gently unfold.
2. Place mask on entire face, smoothing to fit curves and adjusting around eyes, nose, and mouth.
3. Remove after 10 to 15 minutes and pat in remaining content to absorb into skin.

In Detail The Face Shop Lemon Real Nature Face Mask Review and My Experience

The Face Shop sheet mask comes in a pretty standard packet. It has a nice white and yellow theme. All the product details with the ingredients can be seen at the back.

Most of the information is of course printed in Korean language since TFS is a Korean brand. However the necessary details like usage directions as well as ingredients are also printed in english.

There are small grooves near the top of the packet so that we don’t necessarily have to use a pair of scissors to open it up. I just tear off the top from that groove.

Inside, the white tissue sheet mask is neatly folded, soaking in a serum. It smells faintly citrusy. Not the fresh citrus smell I was expecting though.

How I Use it

I carefully unfold the mask and gently place in on my facial skin. The mask is a little bit bigger than my face. However anyone can make it work with a little adjustment here and there. I make sure to use some of the serum and spread it on my neck area as well.

After letting it stay on for a good 15 minutes or more, I take it off and gently massage the skin so that it can drink up any remaining serum.

Effects

Well, while the mask is on, it definitely feels soothing. I just lie down and having a wet mask on my skin has a lovely feeling on my senses. But this may not be the best sheet mask that I have ever tried.

Although it is very moisturising, it kind of leaves my skin feeling a little sticky. I tried to massage a little bit more, may be the serum hadn’t absorbed completely. But no use. This sheet mask actually leaves my skin feeling a little sticky.

So I literally cannot leave my face just like that. I have to wash my face before I go out in public or if I want to put anything else on.

Overall Verdict

Although this is “Lemon” face mask, I do not recommend this for oily or combination skin beauties. Dry skin beauties may give it a try. I don’t notice any long lasting effects on my skin. It just gives a nice soothing feeling when it is on. So just use it for a lazy day pamper session. I wouldn’t expect any solid results from this.

1. In summers, try putting these sheet mask in fridge. Hence, when you use it, the cool mask will be quite uplifting and refreshing for the senses.
2. Use the left over serum in the packet for the neck area. If you still have some more left, store it in the fridge. You can use it on the face half an hour before bathing or washing your face.
