The Face Shop White Seed Brightening Toner Review: If you’re active in the beauty world, you definitely have heard about Korean Skin Care. The Face Shop is one of the very well famous Korean skin care brands known all over the world. I have to admit I am pretty obsessed with their sheet masks. Besides sheet masks, I also picked up a few skin care products from them. I already talked about the Face Shop white seed Blanclouding Cream.
Today, I am here to share my experience with the white seed toner. Please note, my skin type is combination. However during winters, my skin tends to be more dry.

In Detail The Face Shop White Seed Brightening Toner Review, Swatches and My Experience
The Face Shop White Seed toner comes in a white opaque bottle. The bottle is in fact quite tall. It has a pump dispenser with a protective cap over it. The packaging is minimalistic as well as informative as the outer box has every detail about the product mentioned on it. However, I wish they had a smaller size available as a travel friendly option.
The toner has a really mild as well as clean fresh smell to it. It looks like a milky fluid and has a moderate consistency. This toner does not contain any typical or ordinary forms of alcohol in it. However, it does contain propanediol (aka propylene glycol and Hexanediol which are basically humectants with preservative properties. So basically, these ingredients help the skin to retain moisture. Hence, these ingredients are the reason why this toner feels moisturising instead of drying like most other toners in the market. While it does help remove impurities from the skin, do not rely on this to remove makeup.
How I Use it
After washing my face, I pump out sufficient quantity of it on a cotton piece and then gently wipe my face with it. I use this everyday morning as well as evening. Please make sure to be very gentle when you’re covering the area around your eyes. You want to be very gentle on the delicate areas of your skin.
This toner feels quite soothing on the skin. It definitely feels a little hydrating. It never feels drying. In fact, it sort of gives this dewy look to the skin which I love. The toner imparts a light brightening effect on the skin which becomes more visible as you continue using it over a few weeks. It makes the skin look more fresh.
Honestly, I think this is the perfect toner specially for ladies with dry skin types. However, combination as well as oily skin beauties will enjoy this too. It is gentle on the skin. It brightens up the complexion as well as slightly hydrates the skin. If you’re wondering, yes the results are long lasting. Even if you stop using it, your skin will continue to look bright (until damaged any further). Please note, this product is not completely free of chemicals. Hence, I suggest doing a patch test before using it on your facial skin.
Although this is a costly toner, it actually works. It does what it claims. However, these effects can also be achieved by following a good skin care regime with nice affordable products. Hence, while I do enjoy using this toner, I have to say I am not sure I will be repurchasing this. I’d like to try out more affordable toners which are brightening in nature and are alcohol free. So this toner is not an absolute necessity, but you can try it if you’re looking for the results it provides.
