In Detail VLCC Skin Defense Liquorice Cold Cream Review and My Experience
I have extremely dry skin. Especially after bath, it stretches a lot till I apply a good hydrating moisturizer. When I am at home, I apply a lot of oil-based moisturizer to keep it hydrated. This makes my skin look greasy and oily.
Recently a friend suggested me to use this product. It’s an old product from VLCC but in a slightly new packaging. It comes in a white container which closes with screw lid. Unlike many other top brands, the container came completely filled when I opened it, which made me really happy. I have been using it for a month now and I am really happy with the purchase.
The cream is non sticky like other cold creams and still it is highly moisturizing. It keeps my skin hydrated for long time. I use a lot of matte makeup on my face which makes it mandatory for me to use a good moisturizer, and I must say this one does the job perfectly.
Overall
Since this is not very sticky, I feel it will be good for my friends with oily skin as well. Also, autumn has started which makes it even more important for people to try this. I have been using this for a month now, and I haven’t faced any breakouts on skin.
I often use it for to hydrate my body as well. It’s simple and travel friendly packaging makes it easier for me to carry it in my handbag. This would have been a perfect product for the coming winters had it included some protection from sun as well.
The only disappointment for me is that VLCC has printed a bunny logo on the jar. Even after searching a lot, I couldn’t identify which organization it belongs to and how they claim to be vegan or cruelty free.

Hi,
The ‘bunny’ symbol is the recognised symbol for cruelty-free (not tested on animals) in the UK. I always look for this symbol and won’t buy anything that doesn’t have it.
