Wet n Wild Sugar Color Icon Eyeshadow Single Review, Swatches: Hi guy, hope everyone is happy and safe. I have had quite a few shades from Wet N Wild singles and I have tried the glitter one as well as the shimmer one.
One thing I could notice in the swatches available online was that all the shades didn’t have the same shimmer content, like this shade- Sugar, it looked matte in the product images and sheen in the swatches, so I bought two of such shades.

In Detail Wet n Wild Sugar Color Icon Eyeshadow Single Review, Swatches and My Experience
Today I’ll be writing about -Wet N Wild Color Icon Single Eyeshadow – Sugar, I have reviewed 3 shades from its singles range earlier and the glitter palette as well, do check that out you will be able to understand which ones suit your requirement the best.
Packaging – The singles comes in a square compact plastic box, with transparent top and black bottom and all the details printed at the back , even though its such a compact and tiny box , they still have the peel off sticker at the back of which all the ingredients are mentioned, which I personally appreciate as a lot of brands do not mention their ingredients on the packing or outer box neither on their websites.
They don’t have any kind of mirror or applicator, since they are quite small and the concept it to keep them compact doesn’t leave much scope of anything extra. Because of their size they are perfect to travel with and also, they close quite nicely and doesn’t spill or open in their own. They can be easily kept in your vanity bag or your handbag, they won’t disappoint you.
Texture – This one has been the softest and the smoothest texture of all the single I have tried, it has very very tiny shimmers and is buttery smooth. It has quite a shine to it, does give out the shimmer effect but its not very concentrated with the shimmer particles. It isn’t very pigmented but it can easily be blended and can be layered on a couple of times, it doesn’t stay for long and it does fade a little in a few hours so that has to be kept in mind whenever you plan a makeup look with this.
Color pay off – You can easily see the white when you apply it has that shine/shimmer to it but its not very pigmented, it won’t give you that deep white effect, when blended a bit it’ll start to give the effect of a white based silver kind of a shade. It cannot be layered much either, it’ll start to flake out and be all over the eyelids, it is a good option for the inner corner highlight or the brow bone highlight, it works great that ways but it is not a white/ ivory eyeshadow, neither it is as glittery as the moonchild or the glitter single bleached.
How to remove – Since it’s not very pigmented and doesn’t have a lot of shimmer packed on, it’s quite easy to remove, take any makeup remover on a cotton pad and gently rub it off, don’t tug too much or rub it a lot, just a gentle swipe would be enough to get rid of it.
My verdict – I had high hope from it, I was quite happy with the shades moonchild and mesmerized that this came as a disappointment, I am not sure how I would have felt I have tried this shade before the others. But a little more pigmentation and more staying power would have been much appreciated.

Cons of Wet n Wild Sugar Color Icon Eyeshadow Single

- Should have more colour options
- Don’t blend it too much and do apply a concealer or a eye primer else it will not stay for long.
- don’t try to take a lot of product in one go, dust off the excess and try to build it up a little.
- Don’t try to layer it much, a couple of layers will do but not a lot, it will get patchy and definitely will flake out.
