Wet n Wild To Reflect Shimmer Palette Boozy Brunch Review, Swatches: Hi guys, hope all is well with everyone. I was looking for blinding gold highlighter and this caught my eye, it had pink and brown in an abstract pattern as well which looked pretty intriguing. I had never tried a trio of this sort and the size of the product seemed too good for the price. It’s a huge one and has a lot of product.

In Detail Wet n Wild To Reflect Shimmer Palette Boozy Brunch Review, Swatches and My Experience
Wet N Wild -To Reflect Shimmer Palette Boozy Brunch. The name of the product is as interesting as the concept. The pink and brown streaks/ abstract pattern was completely unique for me and does give a nice tone the highlighter.
The blend of these colors makes this highlight a beaming golden one with a sheer pink undertone and not a yellow golden highlight. If you are extremely careful then you can concentrate on picking up the pink or the brown separately with a small brush of course.
There are a few ways to pick up the color in different tones from this one palette which you discover as you keep on using it. May favourite in concentrating on picking up the blend of pink and brown for a beautiful pink tones copper color as an eyeshadow shade.
It’s a nice big Squircle shaped (square with round corners) of a plastic box with the signature Wet N Wild Packaging, i.e. transparent top with black bottom case. But since it’s a big box (comparatively) the top also has the black borders which makes the packing feel a bit sturdy and safe to have in your travel bags. It has only Wet N wild written on Top and every other detail is printed either on the back side or the additional sticker it has.
It’s a powder product which feels very creamy, it’s extremely soft, finely milled, very pigmented and consistent. It blends very easily and uniformly, very little effort is needed to spread it across and has no fall out either. The product is pressed into a very slight uplifted dome kind of shape. It’s very prominent but gives a spherical effect to it which is quite nice.
It’s golden is very opaque yellow toned, pink is quite light but again is warm toned so it brown, it’s not a sheer kind of product but if picked up in excess quantity, the color of the product would be very easily seen as opposed to that glow that we are looking for.
It can be applied both wet and dry, but I have never applied it wet as its soo pigmented already I can’t think of a reason to try the wet version of it. Maybe as an eye shadow shimmer but for a highlighter, you don’t have to try the wet version.
It can be applied using a tapered highlighter brush or a fan brush or any other applicator you prefer. I use a fan brush for this product and always dust off the excess or else it looks like I have applied bricks of golden highlighter on myself which is far from the look which we would want to achieve.
As the golden is very opaque and yellow I swirl my brush around the whole palette to get the perfect blend of the trio rather than just one color. It reminds me of the sugar highlighter from the vivid victory palette I have, the only difference is this has other tones to it.
One thing I don’t like with this is there is no mirror or applicator that comes with it, Wet N Wild isn’t big on either but considering the size of this product, why not?
One thing that I love and can’t get over, the quantity that we get for just 299 Rs we are getting almost 12 g of product which I don’t think I’ll ever be able to finish or even hit pan either. For someone who does highlighter every day or for Makeup Artists it’s a great and affordable product, I have had it for more than a year and I haven’t used much product.
Those tint dents in the product is not from me using it but my nephew getting his hands on it for just a couple of mins. It doesn’t get dented or anything though because of being so soft it would feather out with a slightest of touch. It does break off into tiny particles even if a little pressure is applied with the fingers. So just be a bit careful about that.
Removing this is like removing any other highlighter powder, just use a good makeup remover wipe or pour some makeup remover on a cotton pad and gently rub it off. its not very difficult to remove and neither does it leave any residue behind.
