Today I am back with another review in which I am discussing about my very own first purchase from ZOEVA Cosmetics. Earlier I tried ZOEVA makeup brushes. I think everyone likes them because of their good quality. So I thought to try their makeup range and I picked up the Blush in shade “BURNING UP”

Zoeva Burning up blush is a very warm toned blush. This basically compliments Indian skin tones very well and also to those who have yellow skin undertones. In fact, this is a matte blush so it can be used in many ways. Hence, it can be used as Blush, bronzer, or as a crease shade for eye makeup look.

How to Use Zoeva Luxe Color Blush Burning Up

1. Pick up a small amount of blushes with any blush brush of your choice and remove access powder by lightly snapping the brush with your finger.
2. Smile and dab the desired color on to the apples of the cheeks. And then blend softly.

So out of the 6 shades, only one shade i.e. “Last Love” has a shimmer finish. Rest all the blushes have a nice matte finish.

In Detail Zoeva Luxe Color Blush Burning Up Review, Swatches and My Experience

Packaging

1 compact blush with cosmetic Mirror. The Blush comes in a sturdy black packaging which looks very classic and elegant. The Blush shade is mentioned on both inner and outer packaging. The size of the mirror is also perfect for touch ups while travelling. Also, the quantity of the Blush is also very generous that is 8 grams.

Formula and Texture

Zoeva Luxe colour blushes are Free from parabens, fragnance, Mineral oil, and phthalates. This blush is very smooth, buttery as well as soft in texture. It is basically a MATTE pressed powder blush. The Blush is placed flat on the pan unlike baked blush. In fact, matte blushes best suit beauties who have oily skin. If ladies with dry skin use this blush, it might enhance dry patches on the skin. However, dry skin beauties can moisturise and prime their skin really well before makeup to avoid such a thing. Pressed powder blushes usually last long on the skin and they are easily blend able and build able.

Zoeva Blush – Burning Up

“BURNING UP “ is a mixture of peach and brown color. In fact this blush perfectly suits medium to deep skin tones. Also, those who came in the category of fair to medium can use this blush as a nice bronzer for contouring. Because this is matte, we can use this in both the ways. As a bronzer, it gently warms up my face and looks very natural and healthy. It did not look artificial or made up.

Staying Power

It stays upto 4 hours after then after that I need a touch up. But in case if you are using face primer then it will stay up to 5 – 6 hours. I tried it both the ways mentioned above and then came to this conclusion.

Overall verdict

On the whole I can say that I really like this blush. Because earlier I was the person would only use coral, pinks, and peaches type of shades.. But this blush compelled me to use it every day. It did not look artificial on my face. I love the fact that it’s matte in texture which helped me to stick to it for longer periods of time.

1. Firstly, the quantity is very good (8grams).
2. Secondly, mirror size is perfect for touch ups while travelling. We can see our full face.
3. Thirdly, blush brush picks up the product very easily because the texture is super soft as well as smooth.
4. Fourthly, it did not look patchy on my skin.
5. Lastly, according to the price staying power is decent. Hence, I am satisfied.

1. Do not put too much blush. It can make your makeup look unnatural.
2. Start with a little bit, and then take further to build up the pigment if you need .

Zoeva Luxe Color Blush Burning Up Dupe Alert!

DUPE ALERT- I found SLEEK blush SUEDE very much similar to the shade BURNING UP by ZOEVA. Both are MATTE in texture and look very similar on the pan as well as on the face.

MAC Blush Dupe? The Zoeva Burning Up also looks very similar to MAC Coppertone blush. So in fact Zoeva burning up in itself can be a dupe of MAC Coppertone.
