Hey there pretty lady! Hope you’re doing fantastic 🙂 I’m back with more makeup madness! Today I’ll be doing the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick Icon Review, Swatches. Now I’m all about the liquid lipstick trend happening lately. All these brands are jumping on the bandwagon and coming out with their own version. Now when Huda Kattan came out with her lip contours, I wanted to get 2 of her colors that I liked the most, Trophy Wife and Icon, but seeing as it didn’t live up to my expectations, I decided to pass on a second lip contour and just try out her liquid mattes instead.

Juvia’s place is a small indie company in the US that makes eyeshadow palettes specifically targeting women of color! That’s great news for us tanned girls, who seem to be struggling with shadows that are primarily made for fair skinned beauties. I love how companies are becoming more versatile.

I started following Violet Voss a few months ago when I saw posts about their breath taking Holy Grail palette which is a warm neutral lover’s dream. The only thing that irked me about that palette, and stopped me from buying it, was that there was no real deep shade in the palette and that’s super important to me. I started to see posts about a new palette and I was intrigued. Not only was it also warm, but it had a black, which is staple for me and also similar warm tones to the Holy Grail palette. It was the best of both worlds!

Now the brand Jeffree Star Cosmetics is blowing up all over social media, because of Jeffree himself but also because of his crazy products. You’ll find some very unique colors in his velour matte liquid lipstick line. There is literally something for everyone! It’s the quirkiness and the Barbie pink packaging, which makes this brand so unique. I just had to try it out. These liquid lipsticks themselves were quite hyped up themselves, said to be one of the best in the market. And if it’s the best, chances are, I will have to try it out for myself!
