Now I usually don’t talk about soaps on my blog but when its something thats out of the ordinary, I have to share it with my beautiful readers. So first of all I really love kumkumadi concoctions and the smell is ultra amazing. This performs really good as a soap by cleaning the skin throughly without leaving any residues. At the same time, like I mentioned before, it leaves my skin smelling like I just came from an ayurvedic spa.

Vivel VedVidya Nagarmotha and Bahumanjari oil Soap Review

Enriched with the goodness of Nagarmotha or nut grassalong with the nourishing properties of Bahumanjari oil, this soap makes the skin feel soft and clear. Nagarmotha is known for its antimicrobial goodness and helps protect against the various bacterial and fungal infections. The Bahumanjari oil, also known as Tulsi oil is known to make your skin healthy and help in softening the skin. This ancient beauty combination offers soft and clear skin.

Nagarmotha is not a commonly known ingredient in the modern world. But it has established benefits when we talk about ayurveda. Hence, it is great that Vivel is exploring ayurveda and trying to the bring the best of it to all of us. Just like the kumkumadi and nargis soap, this performs well as a soap. The most interesting part is, I find this smell even more alluring than the smell of kumkumadi or saffron.

The extracts of Sandalwood or Chandan has high nourishing properties that gives an even tone and radiant glow to the skin. Complimenting this, Almond (Badam) oil helps in keeping the skin hydrated, thus making it appear healthy and luminous. This divine combination of ingredients will leave your skin feeling soft, radiant and glowing.

Now if you’re an Indian, you know as a fact built in your memory that almond oil and sandalwood are some of the top notch ingredients for the skin. When I see both of them in a soap, I am happy. Because I know, I am treating my skin to some of the best ingredients that ayurveda has to offer. Performs well as a soap again, and at the same time leaves my skin feeling nourished and moisturised. Oh, and I really love how this smells of sandalwood without being overpowering.

I feel like Vivel needs to be praised specially their R&D because they’ve actually combined ingredients that work together. Even the price point of these soaps is not extravagant.
