This post is very close to my heart. This is the first time I related to something outside my immediate surrounding. When I saw this woman, her confidence and her attitude, I knew I wanted to be someone like that. Carrie Bradshaw has been my style and fashion icon since forever I can remember. I watched her on TV and saw her in magazines. I am speaking of the character Carrie Bradshaw from the movie Sex and The City.
I remember the movie released somewhere while I was still preparing for my pre medical entrance exams. I was so much in love with my icon that I bunked classes for the first time in my life and watched the movie at a friend’s place. Carrie getting married to Mr. Big was like the sweetest moment I could witness. Though it was just a movie, it touched all the girls with equal awe and envy. Here is to the icon I draw my inspiration from.
