In Detail Street Wear Color Rich Ultramoist Lipstick Foxy Fantasy 5 Review
These lipsticks were launched with great pomp I should say. These are affordable, come is a wide range of shades and have a lovely packaging. Now the Outer packaging I really like, its got this graphic girl who looks like Veronica from Archie comics. Cute and simple. But when it comes to the inner packaging, I am not happy. The reason is, the lipstick bullet which actually protrudes out of the tube even after maximum retraction. The picture below shows how much of the bullet keeps sticking out. Its really irritating because if you are not really careful, you might end up breaking the tip of the lipstick and messing up the cap.
Formula and Texture
The formula of the lipstick is quite moisturising. It glides on pretty nicely on the lips and does not make the lips feel dry. Foxy Fantasy actually is a kind of matte in texture with frosty shimmery look. I mean if you look at the bullet, there are no shimmers in it but it does give that frosty-sheen-shimmery look to your lips which is not really obvious from a distance. It does not help in making the fine lines less obvious.
Shade Foxy Fantasy
If I were to give a precise description of this shade, I would call it a maroon shade with brown undertones to it. The sheen may be confused with copper shimmers when you look at it from a lesser distance. But when you come really close, you can appreciate that there are in fact no shimmers in it. It’s just the formula of the lipstick is like that which gives it a frosty-sheen-shimmery look.
Pigmentation and Staying Power
The lipstick has got quite an intense pigmentation. It will be loved by the beauties who like dark fun lipsticks. Because of such intense pigmentation and moisturising formula, the lipstick does transfer. Without any eating or drinking the lipstick lasts on me for an average of 2.5 hours. But with meals and drinks it would last a lot lesser than that. It would not completely go away but kind of fades out. It is easy to remove with any regular make up remover or wet tissue. Does not leave any stain behind.
