In Detail Nyassa Rose Bouquet Light Body Lotion Review
Nyassa is one of the brands which claims to use all natural ingredients in their products. I have tried some of their handmade soaps in the past and this was the first time I was trying a body lotion from Nyassa. I bought it because its Rose 😛 I used it during the summers and yes the review had been pending since then 😀 But here it is now 🙂
The packaging is nice and simple. Round bottle with a pump dispenser. The labels are pink matching the shade of the actual lotion which is pinkish in colour. The texture of the lotion is light creamy. Upon application, it gets absorbed quickly in the skin. This smells like fresh roses in the garden. Like seriously, I love how natural this smells.
Though the smell lasts for may be one to one and half hours, this keeps my normal to dry skin moisturised throughout the day on normal days of summer months. For colder climates, I do not think this product would be sufficient. Also beauties with very dry skin will need more moisturization than what this product has to offer.
Though I really like the natural stuff in the ingredient list, I would have been happy if they had actually mentioned what “preservatives” are used because these days we are more cautious about what we don’t want to put on our skin. Anyways this product did not cause any break outs or reactions on my skin so I guess they are not that harsh.
PROs of Nyassa Rose Bouquet Light Body Lotion
1. Nice packaging
2. Smells like fresh roses
3. Provides adequate moisturization for normal skin type in normal to hot temperature weathers
4. Has some really nice ingredients like almond oil, vitamin E etc
5. Not very pricey
6. Did not cause any reactions on my skin or break outs
7. Fairly easily available
CONs of Nyassa Rose Bouquet Light Body Lotion
1. That amazing smell doesn’t last long 🙁
2. I would have really appreciated if they mentioned what are the exact “preservatives”
3. Not suitable for very dry skin types or in colder climates but since the product says “light” body lotion, it’s understood and doesn’t really make it a con.
Will I Repurchase this?
I might repurchase this for its lovely smell during summer/spring months
