Pink Alert is a sub range of bright pink shades in their Color Sensational range of Lipsticks. All the shades in this range are very eye catching pink!

If I may describe the shades a little better,

Maybelline Pink Alert lipstick POW 1

is a slight blue based pink shade. Some have compared it to MAC Candy yum yum, but I don’t know for sure because to me it does not look very much the same at least formula and texture wise it is completely different.

Maybelline Pink Alert lipstick POW 2

is our Hot shot pink shade. This is going to suit all skin tones. Beauties with dusky skin tones will love this as a bright pink shade.

Maybelline Pink Alert lipstick POW 3

is more like little girl pink shade. I am not sure if it will suit deeper skin tones. However it is a lovely fun color to have I guess.

looks a bit on the neon side with a coral touch to it.

All these lipsticks are very moisturising on the lips. The formula is quite creamy but if you do have dry patches on the lips, it might make them prominent. Make sure your lips are smoothened out to get the product look its best on your lips. About the pigmentation, it is buildable. Do not expect an opaque coverage in a single swipe. We need at least 2 to 3 swipes for a good pigment on the lips. All my hand swatches here have double swipes if you can get an idea out of it. Coming to staying power, they have a staying power of approximately 4 to 5 hours and they do leave a significant stain behind. The stain however can easily be removed by the use of a good make up remover. POW 2 leaves the strongest stain I feel.
