Today I am reviewing a lipstick from Colorbar which is from their recently launched collection named as Colorbar Sinful Matte Lipstick. I had got 2 shades from this range. I love Colorbar lipsticks as they offer variety of shades and formula. I have lot of Colorbar lipsticks and this one is indeed their best formula and lipsticks I’ve ever owned.

I have got two shades from the sinful matte lipstick and the shades are Envious and Virgin. Today I am reviewing the shade named Virgin. To know more keep reading my detailed review below.

In Detail Colorbar Virgin Sinful Matte Lipcolor Review, Swatches and My Experience

Colorbar Sinful Matte Lipstick comes packed in a thick and sturdy cardboard rectangular shaped box which has a beautiful detailing on front of the box and all the information regarding the lipstick is printed on the back of the box. The box has a magnetic lid and on opening there is a lipstick lying between a sponge which looks very appealing.

The actual lipstick is packed in a metallic dark brown lipstick case which has a Colorbar logo on the cap and shade name and number glued at the bottom of the lipstick case. The lipstick has a magnetic cap which shuts tightly and hence it’s travel friendly. Overall I love the packaging of the lipstick, outer as well as inner it’s made with soo much perfection and looks like some very high end brand and also it’s attention grabbing.

The lipstick is odourless it does not have any smell to it which is good for people who don’t prefer perfumed Lipsticks like me.

The shade I am reviewing is named as Virgin which is a very beautiful bright pink color. The shade is very flattering and will look good on all skin tone beauties. Also the shade can be worn during daytime as well as night time. To tone down the color we can use it as a tint as well and in that way also it looks amazing. The shade just brightens my face whenever I apply it, it is one of the best shade from this collection.

The formula of these lipsticks are comfortable matte. The lipstick is matte but not extremely matte. It’s very soft and smooth to apply. It just glides on my lips like butter without tugging or pulling. The formula is so good that it is the best to be worn on winters when our lips are dry and flaky. Once applied at first the lipsticks feels creamy but as time goes it sets into a soft matte finish.

Also the lipstick is extremely pigmented. It is opaque in just one swipe in swatch picture below I have just applied just one swipe and you may see how beautiful it looks.

On me, the lipstick stays 4 – 5 hours without eating food. After that the lipstick starts to fade into a pinkish stain. If you were wondering if this lipstick would still hold true after you have had a meal? Then the answer to that is – Not Really.

As stated before, there would be a pink stain on your lips and some uneven patches where the lipstick might linger, but all in all you would have to reapply the lipstick after you have had a meal which isn’t a problem for me at least as every lipstick needs to be applied after certain hours as it is not liquid matte lipstick.

Though this lipstick is little expensive but it is worth it because of its formula and shades.
