Fab Bag – May 2014

Looks like its raining beauty subscription boxes in MBF at the moment. I got my Fab Bag and I can’t wait to share with you guys what all I got. 🙂

This month’s bag is Black and Yellow, reminds me of honeybees, sunflowers and that song if you listen to Wiz Khalifa 😛

 

I saw many people get their Fab Bag and I was so excited! Here are the things that I got in my Fab Bag – May 2014

1. Votre Microdermabrsion Gel

well, on the information card, it says I am supposed to get a cream, however the product I got says its a gel. Well anyways I am actually happy because my oily-combination skin makes friends with gels and serums better than it does with creams. I am quite excited to try out this product in fact.

2. Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Shower Gel

Yes guys, its a sull sized product that I got here. It was placed outside the bag as it could not fit inside the bag. I have loved organic surge everytime I have used it. Recently I got a few products from the brand which you will be seeing in an upcoming haul post. I am glad I did not purchase this and well of course delighted to get it in my Fab Bag.

 

3. Brocato Actives Restorative Hair Infusion Serum

I got this serum in my Fab Bag in the month of October last year. Well I did love using it, it was pretty good to be honest but I am not really a fan of repetitions when it comes to beauty subscription boxes. This product was actually one of my favourite hair serums for sometime. You can have a look at it “HERE- October Favourites” and “HERE- October Velvette box 2013”

4. La Splash splash Proof Eye Shadow Base

It is quite nice of them to send me an eye shadow base but honestly guys, I am not very fond of this brand. Fab Bag has been sending La Splash products since ages now. I guess high time these guys explored for new brands rather than sending different products from the same brand over and over again

This Fab Bag was an overall mixed experience for me. I was really happy with the products 1 and 2, but my reaction was dull to the products 3 and 4. Not because I dont like them, but because I expect new brands in my subscription box, new luxurious brands as they had promised before. Also the repetition was a big turn off for me. I will of course use it because i really loved it, but you know, I would have loved it even more if they had included some blush, lippie etc in my subscription box, you guys know what I mean. We are women and we get bored of things very quickly, and well if there are repetitions like this, well well 😀
