Purely Pro Cosmetics Blush swatches – Universal and Lovely Review

Hi everyone!!
Today I am going to review a couple of powder blush shades from Purely Pro Cosmetics. Everyone must be familiar with this brand as I am pretty sure all of you girls out there own at least one blush from this brand. 😛

When I review cosmetics, more than talking I believe in swatches. You guys can see for yourself and decide which shade would be suitable for you.

I have 2 blushes from this brand. Universal and lovely.

Universal is this really pretty, almost baby pinkish shade with powdery shimmers.

Lovely is a pretty pink shade with a coraly touch to it.

Pigmentation wise I think they are pretty okay. Nothing too great but manageable.

Universal-

Lovely-

I would say this is slightly chalky. Though I love the colour. It is pink and slightly corally. It has really smooth texture and is easy on the application part. Pigmentation is okay but build-able. I love using this when I am going out for a short while.

I find that the staying power for both these blushes is a disappointment. I can hardly notice them on me after 2-3 hours. Though some shimerriness of the Universal shade does remain uptill 4 hours.

Overall I say these are decent blushes. If you are not looking for long wear, you might try this. Although I haven’t been using them much, I still have a couple brand new ones of the same shades.

Pros:

1. Nice screw lid packaging
2. fine and smooth texture
3. average pigmentation, not sure if this is a pro or con though 😛
4. Universal shade can be used as a highlighter
5. Decent quality as they did not break me out or anything

Cons:

1. Poor staying power
2. Pigmentation could have been better (there I mentioned it here as well)
3. Limited availability
