In Detail Urban Decay Perversion Mascara Review and My Experience

So I was a little sceptic being this mascara (just like any other mascara I’m buying) but this one looked pretty good. It smells like all those expensive brands, it smells luxury mascara, the brush is exactly what I prefer, so I decided to give it a shot.

The packaging is again very pretty, black matte, nice violet pattern on the inner side of the package (as we’re used to with Urban Decay.)

The mascara itself looks very metallic but it’s not heavy at all, the color makes me think of stainless steel. I love the contrast between black and purple which is so impressive, and in fact it’s really catchy. Performance wise its light weight and really works well on the lashes. It describes pretty much the mascara itself; It may give you some long thick eyelashes but it’s really light to wear.

To show you the effects I decided to do one full make up and another day just me, no make up on and the Perversion mascara. I love this mascara for being creamy, it doesn’t fall into your eyes at the end of the day/in the night/in the morning of the next day, it just stays where it’s supposed to be. It doesn’t glue your eyelashes together neither which has become a standard request, but it seems like this asset is going to last way longer than it’s cheaper sisters’.

I applied one coat for you to see, I think it’s not necessary applying two, unless you go for a dramatic look. It makes my blond eyelashes pop out and it really makes them curvy and longer. I find it pretty difficult to apply on the outer corner of my eyes, may be the brush could’ve been a little bit thinner at the end to be able to work in details around the corner eyelashes. So sometimes I put a little bit of the black over my eyelids.

Fortunately, a Q-tip saves our lives. If you want to get rid of those black dots you printed all over your eyes easily, just wait. Don’t use your Q-tip immediately, you’ll only blend it all over and it’ll be worse. Let it all dry and then you can remove it easily.

I applied also a second coat to get some more dramatic look. The mascara also passes this exam, no pieces of dry mascara all over, it covers easily the first coat without damaging the perfection of the contour the first coat gave your lashes.

This mascara is not waterproof, so it’s very comfortable to wear and easy to remove. I must mention that just like the other UD products of course Perversion is cruelty free, so no animal has suffered for you having some dramatic black eye-lashes.
