Today I am going to talk about the eyeshadows in the same “Feel the Rain” collection by colorbar. They launched 4 eyeshadows in this range and like the name suggests, all have a metallic or frosty finish. Let’s dive in and learn more about them. I have also done the swatches of all these shades. How to Use Colorbar Feel The Rain Metallik Eyeshadow

Colorbar’s official website provides no specific instructions for using the eyeshadows. Hence, I suggest use it like you would use any other metallic shadow. Prime your lids well, dab the shadow on the eyes and then blend well. You can layer up for increased colour intensity.

All Colorbar Feel The Rain Metallik Eyeshadows 4 Shades Review, Swatches

The eyeshadows come in a beautiful rose-copper coloured pan which has textured rain drops on it. The packaging is a total stand out in this collection. All the details including the ingredient list is mentioned on the outer carton box. Open the pan and you see the gorgeous shadows. Also, there is a good quality mirror provided in it. However, there isn’t any applicator.

All these 4 shadows are incredibly pigmented. They feel satiny soft and go on smoothly. Even a single swipe pays almost 100% pigmentation. As far as the quality of the shadows is concerned, I must really praise colorbar. The formula is quite comparable to some of the high end brand shadows. The shadows do take a tiny bit effort to blend though.

Individual Shades Description of Colorbar Feel The Rain Metallik Eyeshadows

Pour 01 – Is a beautiful metallic rose pink shade.
Stream 02 – Stream looks golden but its actually a deeper shade of metallic brown gold shade.
Flow 03 – Flow is a lovely pale frosty white shade with a tinge of rosiness. In fact, this shade works amazing as a highlight as well. While highlighting, you just need a tiny bit of it on the brush.
Float 04 – Float looks like its a burgundy shade in the pan. But on swiping it comes out as a deeper intensified shade of “Pour 01”.

The shadows have an average stay power of 4 to 5 hours without fading under normal conditions. In hot and humid environment they may last for lesser time. I honestly feel colorbar should have come up with more shades because the formula of the shadows is very nice. I would have also loved to see some fun shades like green, pure gold, metallic silver, copper, bronze etc. Anyways I hope they come up with more exciting colours in future.

Overall I am pretty happy with this eyeshadow collection. Although I would have loved more shades. I have to say the ones launched are pretty amazing too.
