Best of Deepika Padukone Costumes Dresses and looks in Bajirao Mastani

Hi everyone!

I am positive that most of you guys have already watched the movie “Bajirao Mastani” which is a Love story of a warrior and princess from different religions and background. With Bhansali productions, we indeed expected some grand sets in the movie and well we were not disappointed. From the biggest to the smallest details, everything in the movie was praiseworthy. I was specially drawn towards the super amazing outfits worn by Deepika Padukone who played the role of “Mastani”.

All the costumes in the movie were designed by Anju Modi. She gave the costumes a mixed theme of Mughal and Maharashtra based on different roles and occasions as far as I can observe. For example, Deepika is seen to be wearing mostly Mughal themed Lehenga choli and Lehenga Kameez sets. Priyanka Chopra who played the role of Kashi-bai (The wedded wife of Pashva Bajirao) was seen wearing some really elegant Maharashtrian sarees.

So I have compiled the top looks and dresses from the movie worn by Deepika Padukone. Of course I indeed tried my best to get the snapshots as best as I could from various sources. They have really brought out the love story from a different perspective set up in the old Maharashtrian empire in the middle of wars and conflicts. Its about how love prevails no matter what. 🙂
