The Body Shop Fijian Water Lotus Shower Gel Review: I confess, I am an ADDICT. I am addicted to body products. Basically, I just cannot resist a good smelling body product. At all times I have too many shower gels lying in my bathroom. I just cannot wait till one bottle is over so I can use the other. Hence, many open bottles and most of them are from The Body Shop.
I take full advantage of their sales and watch out. I only buy when there is sale going on. Today I am reviewing Fijian Water Lotus Shower gel. I tend to use body washes and shower gels which claim to be soap-free as they are less harsh on the skin than regular soaps. Also, they are so much fun than the normal soaps. The colours, the exotic fragrance, transfers you to another world during your shower.

In Detail The Body Shop Fijian Water Lotus Shower Gel Review and My Experience
The shower gel comes in a tall white plastic container with a black screw on and press open cap. The packaging is travel friendly and sturdy, nothing fancy. The shower gel is a transparent liquid, the consistency is on the runnier side but not too runny. It claims to be a gel but it is not too sticky. You actually get a lot of product.
Imagine walking on an island, Salt in the air, freshness coming from flora around, that’s exactly what this shower gel smells like. Fresh floral fragrance with citrusy hints. The smell is light and refreshing. I am very hard to please when it comes to fragrances. I only tend to like light floral notes, or the ones with fruity hints, if you are like me then I am sure you will love this product.
The product is soap-free which is less harsh on your skin. Pour over a loofah, it lathers up nicely. Gently cleanses my skin without drying it out. The product is not moisturising but the skin is left soft as well as plump. I hate products which leaves me feeling like there is residue left on my skin even after rinsing multiple times. But this one leaves my skin squeaky clean.
The smell does not last long after you are out of the shower. 1-2 hours is the most that too if you use quite a lot of product. Layer other product from the same range and you will be a walking lotus. I love the concept that the body shop has of all the body products in each fragrance.
The body shop products are affordable. Keep an eye on the site and you will find good deals in sale, as they have 20 -30-50 % discounts going on most of the time. Super cheap when on sale. To be honest, I would not pay the original price for the product I am getting but I would gladly pay the discounted price.
