Bath & Body Works In the Stars Shower Gel Review: Hey guys, so yeah I am kind of obsessed with Bath & Body Works recently and today I am here to talk about one of their shower gels. “In the Stars” line is one of BBW’s classics. I love how the fragrance mist smells. This was the first time I got the shower gel in this variant. Let me tell you all about my experience with this below.

In Detail Bath & Body Works In the Stars Shower Gel Review and My Experience

The shower gel comes in a nice transparent bottle with a gold chrome coloured plastic top. The top is actually a flip top which is very convenient to use while taking a shower. I just like the whole design theme of “In the Starts” by Bath and Body Works. I mean, its golden and full of stars, I love it. They also have a small travel size 88 mL available in India. I am not sure if the travel size version of these shower gels is available in other places as well.

The shower gel itself is golden in colour. It smells absolutely wonderful. I have tried almost everything from BBW, and I have a handful of fragrances that just rule them all. Trust me guys, this is one of them. This smell is so amazing, if you smell it once, you are going to want to get everything from this range. I even have the candle in the same range, and its just extraordinary.

It has this lovely amalgamation of sandalwood musk and amber with a really nice mellow sweet background. I mean, I am someone who steers clear from sweet smells, and yet, I am in love with this. Because the sweetness here, it very faint, just enough to balance everything woody and amber-y. So nothing in this smell is overpowering, but they are all just kind of amalgamated beautifully. What remains in the senses is this lovely sandalwood muskiness.

Other than the smell, to be very honest, it just works like any normal shower gel. No it does not leave the skin extra moisturised or anything. It simply acts like a normal shower gel.

In order to make the amazing smell long lasting, we need to layer up products which have the same scent. Bath & Body Works has body lotion, body butter, fragrance mist as well as perfume in the “In the Starts” range. So you can opt for those. But the smell of the shower gel itself singularly lasts for may be like 15 minutes after I am out of the shower.

So overall, if you’re someone who is really into fragrances, you cannot miss this iconic scent by Bath & Body Works. It works decent, cleans the skin well and everything But, it smells like nothing you have smelled before. Very invigorating. 1. Get these during sale season, they are marked down to 50% a lot of times.
2. Smells or Scents are a matter of individual preference, so if you’re not sure, I’d advise going to a store, giving this a sniff. Otherwise, if you do not have a store in your city (Like I do not have a store where I live), get the small travel size version of it.
