Today I am reviewing a palette from the brand called LA Girl I am personally not a fan of LA Girl makeup products I only love their very famous hd concealers and foundation I got this palette from HOK makeup at a very good discount so I picked this up, this palette is named as LA Girl Beauty Bricks Blush Collection.

How to Use L.A. Girl Glam Beauty Brick Blush

Apply desired blush shade to apples of cheeks and lightly blend across cheekbones. Use bronzer in hollows of cheeks to contour or on forehead and chin for a sun-kissed glow. Lightly sweep highlighter on top of cheekbones, brow bones, and nose bridge to enhance features, blend for a natural look.

In Detail L.A. Girl Glam Beauty Brick Blush Collection Review, Swatches and My Experience

La Girls blush palette came wrapped in a thin polythene, once removed the palette has a sleek rectangular shape where 4 pans are attached. Inside 2 pans bear blush shades and in other two pans a abronzer and a highlighter rests.

The palette is made of a very thick and sturdy cardboard kind of a material and also its lid has a magnetic closure to it. There is also a sleek mirror attach to the lid of the palette. It does not comes with any brush or applicator.

All the necessary information related to the product is written on back of the palette. Overall it has a very good packaging and can be carried along easily as it has blush, contour and a highlighter which will be very handy especially while travelling.

As I said earlier palette has four variants and I chose the shade ‘GLAM’. It is a gorgeous palette that contains two blush shades and one bronzer and one highlighter. It has a nice combination of shimmery and matte shades. All the shades are good for all skin tones but I didn’t liked the second blush shade in the palette will explain why in detail below.

Lets talk about the individual shades from the GLAM palette.

Left to Right! 

Blush No 1. It is a very pretty deep true pink color which looks very pretty on dusky skin tones as I have dusky skin it looks gorgeous on me. This shade does not have any shimmer particles and is totally matte. Also it is really pigmented shade that needs a light-hand application or else you may end up looking like a clown :p (just kidding)

Blush No 2. As I said above this shade is very light pink in color and is little shimmery and this shade will look good on very fair skinned beauty. This does not look good on me and when I wear it, its hardly visible on my skin tone. Also the pigmentation of it is on the sheer side.

Bronzer. Its a very pretty matte warm brown color which will suit amazingly well for girls with above nc45 skintone. The shade is dark enough for my skin to be used as a bronzer but I use it to contour my face and in that manner it acts pretty well. Also this is very pigmented and applies very smoothly.

Highlighter. The highlighter is very subtle and not that pigmented as you can see in my swatch picture below. It gives a very subtle highlighted look which is best to use at day time and if you are willing to get that blinding glow than this highlighter is not for those. I also sometimes use this as a eyeshadow and it looks very beautiful in that way also. 

The shades in this palette are extremely pigmented except one. Just a touch of a brush is all you need. These blend effortlessly on the skin without flaking or caking. These shades have a lightweight powdery and very soft texture that glides easily on the skin without any patchiness.

The blush and bronzer have a lovely velvety matte finish. Every shade is super silky to the touch and blends like a dream. Since these have a velvet formulation hence glide on very smoothly and also does not accentuate dry patches. 

The bronzer, highlighter, and blusher they all have a great staying power. These do stay on the face for about 4+ hours without much fading and no patchiness in between!!

However, highlighter fade a little bit but then I don’t mind reapplying it with my fingers in that way it applied better. I have used the palette during the day as well as at nighttime and they work well for both.

MBF Advises

I will not recommend this palette to any one as it is very basic and there is nothing extraordinary about it also it is very expensive as compared to the quality provided. We can get much better product at this price or cheaper.
