Jaclyn Hill needs no introduction in the beauty world. She has a successful youtube channel as well as millions of fans all over the world. The lady has collaborated with a lot of makeup companies. However, I feel her collab with Becca Cosmetics for Champagne Pop Highlighter is still one of the most iconic collabs ever. The highlighter became an immediate success. Hence, they launched an entire Champagne Collection.

In Detail Becca Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette Review, Swatches and My Experience

Speaking of the packaging, its everything you can hope for. The palette is made of metal which is light golden in colour. You see this gorgeous white almost marble like onlay on top with golden art work. Becca definitely did a good job designing the palette. The palette actually comes housed inside a golden coloured paper box with a personal message from Jaclyn Hill herself. I think its so cool and a way to add a personalised touch to the product.

Inside the Palette

When you open the palette, the inside looks even more pretty. There is a full size mirror. The pan side is made of super reflective golden coloured metal. The bottom right has “Becca Jaclyn Hill” logo printed on it. I must say, this is one of the most gorgeously designed palettes I have ever seen.

There are 5 pans in the palette. 3 blushes as well as 2 highlighters. All these shades except “Champagne Pop Highlighter” are new additions to Becca. The 3 blushes are actually in 3 different finishes. One is luminous, second is matte and the third is satin in finish. Champagne Pop needs no introduction. Prosecco Pop is a newly launched highlighter which makes its first appearance in this palette. Let us go through each of these individual shades in detail below.

The Blushes in Becca Jaclyn Hill Face Palette

There are 3 blushes. All new shades. Blushes are arranged in the top row. Highlighters are arranged in the bottom row.Becca Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette Review, Swatches closeup MBF Blog

Becca Rose Spritz Blush

Rose spritz is a warm coral pink shade with strong rose gold frosty finish to it. When I say strong frosty finish here, I mean it. It is a very unique shade. The texture is very smooth and fine. Pigmentation wise, you have to be careful because these blushes are very pigmented. Just a mild swipe of brush picks up enough product for a natural looking flush on the face. The blush wears well on my skin without fading much for around 7 hours on my skin.

Becca Amaretto Blush

Amaretto is a warm dusty rosy muted mauve shade with a touch of super fine golden shimmers. It has a satin finish on the skin. The texture here is again very smooth and soft. This blush has amazing pigmentation. So make sure you do not take a lot of product on the brush initially. This wears for almost the same duration as Rose Spritz.

Becca Pamplemousse Blush

Pamplemousse is a popping bright-medium pink which basically would flatter all skin tones. If you love a pop of pink on your cheeks, this is the colour for you. It has satin to matte finish on the skin. Texture wise again, very soft and buttery. This blush is super pigmented and a tiny bit brings out a lot of colour on the skin. The blush wears well on my skin without fading for approximately 8 hours.

The Highlighters in Becca Jaclyn Hill Face Palette

There are 2 highlighters in the palette. Champagne Pop is the well known iconic highlighter from Becca’s collab with Jaclyn. Prosecco Pop is the new addition.

Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter

Champagne pop is a warm peachy frosty gold with a very noticeable sheen on the skin. The texture is so smooth. Champagne pop has superb pigmentation. So you just need to lightly stroke your brush once across the pan to pick up product on your brush. The extraordinary quality of this blush is, it looks good on every single skin tone. Till date, I haven’t come across anyone who says this doesn’t suit them. Anyone who has tried this highlighter has fallen in love with it. For makeup lovers across the globe, this is a must have highlighter in my opinion. It wears well on me for around 8 hours.

Becca Prosecco Pop Highlighter

Prosecco Pop is a beautiful medium gold highlight with some yellow undertones. This is a 0.01% less frosty than champagne pop. In fact, if you do not see them together, its not uncommon to mistake one for the other. They are quite similar. Basically prosecco pop is a little bit more golden version on champagne pop according to me. All the other qualities of the blush like the texture, pigmentation as well as the lasting power as exactly like champagne pop.

Overall Verdict

I think Becca Jaclyn Hill Face palette is a wonderful addition to any makeup lover’s collection. It has everything you need to create a luminous glowing look. Quality wise, I have absolutely no complains with any of the formulas. All the 3 blush shades are amazing. In fact the highlighter again would suit everyone. The palette is slightly warm as well as coral toned I feel. But still, with a little bit of bronzer, even very pale skin tones can flaunt the shades in this palette.

The luxurious packaging feels slightly weighty but still you can travel with it. I carry mine very often. Because it has a click close mechanism, it stays safe inside the baggage. Every blush in the palette is 0.10 oz each. The highlighters are 0.19 oz each. Overall, definitely a value for money.

I know a lot of ladies would still like to get their hands on this one. However, it was a limited edition palette. Still, last year Becca did relaunch this palette around holidays. I whole heartedly hope, they launch the palette again this year. Because honestly, this is one of the best quality face palettes out there. If you can get your hands on it, totally get it because this palette is worth every penny you pay.

CONs of Becca Jaclyn Hill Champagne Face Palette

1. Limited edition product. But going by Becca’s records, they might relaunch this anytime like they did last time during the holidays.

MBF Advises

1. Always make sure the base makeup is set and flawless. On perfect base makeup, everything else like blush and highlighter look amazing.
2. The shades of blushes as well as highlighters in the palette have superb pigmentation. Hence, be careful about how much product you want on your brush.
3. Although the palette isn’t available anywhere else, I have seen this is currently available on Sephora Indonesia’s official website. Therefore, pretty sure there is still hope that Becca may anytime relaunch this palette. Keep an eye on Becca’s updates ladies!

4. Do not try to depot the palette because one of my friends tried to do so and ended up destroying one of the blushes. I mean, the packaging is already so gorgeous, why would you want to depot the pans anyways? If you still decide to depot, be extra careful because the pans are glued very nicely on the bottom.
