All over the internet, time and time again I read, heard, and watched, everything about how GREAT this product was. I suffer from SUPER OILY eyelids so finding an eyeshadow primer that works and doesn’t crease on me would be nothing short of a miracle! So I had high hopes for this highly coveted eyeshadow primer.

Sadly those hopes went in vain. I’ve noticed this a lot lately, super hyped about products don’t end up working for me. Or maybe it’s the weather here that just breaks everything down!

Here is a mini wear test I did

Eye after 2-3 hours in a non humid environment

As you can see after 2-3 hours, there is already slight creasing as well as fading happening. It’s barely been any time at all and it wasn’t even hot then. It just gets a lot worse! My eye makeup doesn’t stand a chance!

1. False claim of lasting 24 hours!
2. Colorless so it doesn’t create a blank canvas to work with
3. Expensive
4. Creases and fades after a couple of hours
5. Not meant for humid weather

1. Apply the primer all over your lid with your finger to ensure even distribution,
2. Always set with a translucent powder so the shadow doesn’t stick to the primer itself
3. Only apply a tiny amount or it will crease badly

There are better eye primers out there for a fraction of the cost, so I won’t be recommending this to anyone! The product fell flat of my expectations and I’m really glad I didn’t invest in the full sized one! Nothing irks me more than money wasted on ill performing products!
