How to use Smashbox The Original Photo Finish Smooth & Blur Primer

Smooth a layer over clean, moisturized skin. Let it set for 15 seconds. Wear alone or under makeup. Can also be used over makeup for touchups.

The smashbox original photofinish primer comes in a cardboard box packaging which has all the necessary details written on it. They also have a summary of customer reviews printed on the box which is something different. The primer itself is in a tube. Smashbox upgraded the packaging recently. Earlier the original primer came in a transparent tube, but now the tube has a reflective chrome finish.

I find the packaging very light weight and travel friendly.Now this brand does not just have one primer for all skin types and skin tones like most other brands. They have about 12 different types of primers for various skin types and skin concerns. So no matter what’s your concern they have a primer for you. Smashbox photo finish primer is probably the most talked about primer on Youtube, beauty blogs, etc, hence I wanted to give it a try.

This primer is a gel based primer. It has a soft velvet finish to it. It is a clear gel based primer so it will not give any tint to the skin. The moment you apply this primer on the skin, it will give you a very soft and smooth skin. It also blurs out all the fine lines and imperfections on the skin.

Honestly, it is the best primer so far that I have been used. It creates a perfect canvas for makeup. Anything you put on top of this just goes flawless. Even a compact which you may find chalky will just blend beautifully when you have this primer beneath it. This also helps your makeup last longer.

Also if you are bit wearing any makeup just wear a moisturizer and a primer it will protect your skin from any environmental pollutants.

A big yes. It will suit all skin types and you will see major difference in your makeup when you use it. This is meant for all skin types.

1) Use a pea size amount all over your face before you put your makeup on. It will help your makeup stay for longer as well as anything you put on top of that will just blend flawlessly and your makeup wont penetrate into your skin.
2) Even if you don’t have any makeup on, just use your moisturizer it will protect your skin from any environmental pollutants.
