I am reviewing a primer today from their Photo Focus range named as Wet N Wild Photo Focus Dewy Finish Primer. I bought this primer as well as the matte finish one from HOK makeup site at a very good deal.

In Detail Wet n Wild Photo Focus Dewy Face Primer Review, Swatches and My Experience

Wet N Wild Photo Focus Dewy Finish Primer comes in a simple white colored sleek tube with all the information along with ingredients printed on back of the tube. It has a twist open cap which closes tightly ensuring that the cap does not open while travelling. The tube is cute, sleek and compact which closes which is appropriate for traveling.

The primer does not have any smell to it which is good for sensitive noses.

The primer has a thick yet slightly runny consistency and is light Beige in color with shimmer particles. It is not at all gritty and spreads evenly onto the skin without streaking. It is fast absorbing and gets absorbed almost completely without any greasy residue. It feels super lightweight on the skin.

You can use this primer on its own, under makeup or mixed in with your foundation. When used under makeup, it imparts a glow which translates even through the foundation you apply on top.

It looks best with a light to medium coverage foundation on top which allows the glow to shine through. Full coverage foundations do mask the glow considerably.This quality does make the imperfections on your skin look a bit blurred, but still detectable, and by no means makes them disappear.

The glowy effect is much more subtle when compared to when the shimmering skin perfector (the liquid version) is mixed into the foundation.

With this subtle glow and the super lightweight, non-greasy, non-heavy texture, even oily skin can use this as I have extremely oily skin. This primer does not feel drying on the skin nor does it stick to or accentuates dry patches.

It is moderately hydrating hence if you have dry skin, you cannot rely on this alone to moisture your skin you will need a good hydrating moisturiser prior to using this.

According to me this is more sort of a like a strobing cream rather than a foundation primer, as I said earlier it does not makes my pore disappear completely nor my fine lines and also it does not extend a wear time of my makeup.

But I am using this as my strobing cream as it impart subtle glow which can also be used in a day time.

You should definitely invest in this primer it does not actually acts as a primer but it is surely a very good strobing cream in a budget and you can get it at a very good discount online.
