In Detail L’Oreal Paris Micellar Water 3 in 1 Review, Demo and My Experience
The loreal micellar water comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a pink flip/screw top. The packaging has a blue and pink theme going on which looks kinda pretty. It is a 95 mL bottle which is quite small hence, won’t be heavy or anything in case you want to travel with it. The bottle is quite sturdy and won’t get compressed easily. Also, the top closes with a click hence there are very minimal chances of leakage. L’oreal has mentioned everything on the back labels including a detailed ingredient list.
The micellar water basically looks and feels like water. There is no smell as such, like I do not think it has any noticeable scent to it. It has “Rosa Gallica” which is french rose, hence I was expecting a rose like fragrance here, but it smells like nothing. Inside the bottle, there are these bubbles which always sit at the surface of the level of the liquid. Loreal says that this product cleanses the skin, removes makeup as well as soothes the skin. I have been using this for quite somedays now and so far, I am not disappointed.
How I Use it
I most often use this as a makeup remover. I mean I did want to use this as a cleanser but I always try to go for natural cleansers for my facial skin. I try to stay away from chemicals and this product is basically a mixture of chemicals. So I use this as a makeup remover only. I take a cotton pad, soak it in the micellar water and gently wipe my makeup with it. I make sure I don’t rub the skin too much.
The idea is to let the product melt off your makeup. So just make sure you soak the cotton generously so that the water gets transferred to your skin for a few seconds. Then wipe it off gently yet properly using another cotton pad. Repeat the steps if you feel your makeup isn’t gone completely. Usually 2 rounds with this micellar water is able to take off all my makeup.
I am pleasantly surprised how easily it melts off my makeup. I mean this micellar water has been able to take off my mascaras better than any other micellar waters that i’ve used before. It however does take a tiny bit of patience when I try to remove my heavy duty waterproof mascaras. But overall performance wise, this works great as far as makeup removal is concerned. It does leave the skin hydrated and plump. Loreal says there is no need to rinse it off after taking your makeup off. You can do that. But I always like to clean my face with plain water at least after using it because it does have some chemicals in it.
This is a great micellar water for makeup removal. It takes off all my usual makeup very very easily. It however does take 2 or 3 rounds to take off my waterproof mascaras. It leaves the skin feeling super soft, smooth and supple. Finally, I really like the fact that this product does not cause any sort of irritation on my eyes or skin. The only drawback according to me is the price. I mean Rs. 475/- for just 95 mL is quite costly. This means we are paying 5/- Rs per mL of this product which is quite a lot.

I have swatched some makeup on my hand. I swatched them and let them sit for 8 complete minutes till all of them were set. Then at first I gently rubbed them with cotton which was properly soaked in micellar water. Then I took another cotton pad and gently wiped off the makeup.
The makeup that I have swatched are (L to R) – Colorbar full finish long wearing matte lipstick – get ready, New Maybelline Colossal Kajal, Lakme 9 to 5 lipstick, New Maybelline Kajal again.

CONs of L’Oreal Paris Micellar Water 3 in 1
1. Rs. 475/- for 95 mL is like 5/- Rs per mL of product which is quite costly for a drugstore brand.
2. Does not take off waterproof mascara very easily. You have to repeat at least 2-3 times before you can take that off completely.
3. Only one size available.
4. This product is made in China.
1. This is a decent micellar water for taking off daily makeup, its slightly costly but works better than a lot of drugstore micellar waters in the market.
2. Soak a cotton pad and make sure to spread the micellar water on the makeup for a few seconds before wiping it off. I have found that this method makes it even more effective as a makeup remover.
3. Always remember to keep this out of children’s reach because it looks and feels like water but has some chemicals in it.
Rightly said, bit expensive for a drugstore brand but works decent.
Hey please compare the loreal vs maybelline micellar water..thanku
