In Detail Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Ageing Revitalizing Night Skin Cream Review, Swatches and My Experience

The Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti Ageing Night Cream comes in a sturdy glass bottle that almost fits in the hand. It is a jar that has a screw-on lid. To further protect the ingredients of the jar, there is also a ‘lid’ cover. The jar itself comes in a velvety-coloured deep red box.

The jar is double walled – perhaps to protect the ingredients and their composition. The outer wall is transparent and the inner wall is dark grey in colour. The cream itself is pearly white with medium thick consistency. The fragrance is a mild scent – that definitely reminds you of the typical Olay fragrance. It doesn’t feel greasy and is easily absorbed into the skin, with no sticky ‘film’ left after application.

My skin felt moisturized, but not oily on first application. After just two consecutive nights of using this, my skin felt more supple and plump. I don’t have too many wrinkles or fine lines, but I definitely felt my skin was more hydrated.

It looked ‘lifted’ and chiselled somehow. It wasn’t that sticky oily – but just more hydrated. Because of this hydration, it also appeared more elastic after just a week of daily use. After a month of using the Olay Regenerist Anti-Ageing Firming Night Cream my skin looked markedly smooth and revitalized.

How I Use it

I cleanse my face thoroughly and after patting it dry with a cheesecloth, I pat a toner into the facial skin. After about ten minutes, I use a single finger scoop (sometimes two if my skin feels too dry) and dab it in dots all over my face and neck. I don’t rub it vigorously but use upward strokes to gently smooth it into my skin

Effects of Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti Ageing Night Cream

I think because of the advanced Amino-peptide Complex II, the skin’s surface underwent some sort of exfoliation – because blemishes were all but gone. Designed for areas most prone to ageing: eyes, jaw-line & neck, these parts of my face looked firmer – and that explained the ‘chiselled’ look I was speaking of earlier. This also makes the skin look ‘lifted’.

Because I was so impressed with it, I gifted my mom a jar and she is now hooked onto it. I wish I had taken some before pictures so I could show you after. But don’t just go by what I say, try this for yourself.

Always cleanse facial skin and the neck before applying. Also, instead of using too much of the product at one go, build it up. See for yourself how much product your skin ‘asks for’ – yes, after a couple of days, you will know yourself if you have applied too much product. I did that once accidentally and just patted the back of my hands on my face to take of the excess product which I rubbed onto my hands. So now I apply this on my hands as well once a week. 😉
