In Detail SUGAR Set The Tone Tinted Powder Review, Swatches and My Experience

Sugar Loose powder comes packed in its classic graphic print square cardboard box which has all the important information regarding the powder printed all over the box. The actual powder is in a square tub which has the brand name and range name printed on it. The packaging of this reminds me of the Huda Beauty Easy Bake Powder and Fit me loose powder from Maybelline.

It has a black twist open cap which closes tightly which ensures that we can carry the powder easily with us while travelling. It has a black color good quality puff provided which makes it convenient for travelling as well without carrying any seperate applicator.

A lot of loose powder’s main problem is when you open its lid and the powder spread everywhere and it becomes so messy. But the packaging of this is so convenient that does not make the container messy and that also prevents from wastage of lots of product. I really loved this packaging it’s sturdy, stiff and once I dropped it hard and it didn’t broke which is a plus point.

These powders are available in 5 shades and I got the shade named Chococcino. The shade is one tone darker for my skin (MAC NC 42) and I can’t actually bake my undereye area with it. I need 1 tone lighter shade for baking. But I use it to set my base and it does not look odd or darker with full face of makeup.

The powder is very fine and smooth in texture. When I touched it I felt the powder is very silky and finely milled. It glides on my face so seamlessly and does not look patchy. I love to set my under eye area with loose powders I take a good amount of the powder with the puff provided in it and just press it under my eye and on my eyelids and don’t drag or rub it.

It really helps to even out skin and also provides a matte finish but it’s not extremely mattifying and hence all skin type girls can use this powder. I have applied it with both powder and beauty blender but if you want little coverage from this then apply it with a damp beauty blender for just setting my base I use it with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

The product does not clings into dry patches or open pores even if you layer it, the powder is very lightweight and actually don’t feel cakey as said by the brand. My skin is very oily and I have to set my base always with a powder to get rid of oily-ness and this actually helps in keeping my face oil free for longer period of time especially my t zone.
