In Detail The Body Shop Absinthe Purifying Hand Cream Review
This is a product from my tiny TBS haul which you can check out “HERE” . I specially chose this hand cream over others because it has Absinthe (PS also because it was ELLE beauty award winner for 2013) :P. Now absinthe is basically a purifying agent which also conceals some odour. Because of my work, irrespective of season, my hands tend to get dry.
It comes in this tube which looks like its made out of tin or some alloy. However, contrary to what one might apprehend, this does not leak out from sharp edges which such metal tubes tend to develop. Has a nice little screw cap at the top. Kind of reminds me of our good old boroline tube.
This has a consistency of a lotion. Not very thick neither too runny. It smells amazing. It has this really fresh minty kind of a earthy smell which I absolutely love. I need a dime sized amount per usage. It absorbs almost immediately and does not feel greasy or oily at all. My hands feel moisturised naturally. It leaves my hands smelling so wonderful that I actually sniff my hands sometimes just to get that great fresh smell inside my lungs. 😀
Honestly this is one of the best summer/spring hand moisturisers that I have tried and thanks to TBS for coming up with this concept of putting in a purifying agent with a moisturiser. For the ladies obsessed with soft hands, I tell you, this is pretty much the best pal my hands have made this summer.
