To begin with, the packaging looks super sleek and classic. There is a pencil end and a smudger end. Both the ends have proper fitting caps. Although I love the packaging, sharpening a pencil eyeliner is quite a cumbersome job and I so with these were retractable twist up pencils. The outside of the pencils are coloured in the corresponding shades as the actual shade of the product.

These eyeliners are extremely creamy. Its like gliding melted chocolate on my skin quite literally. Extremely soft and velvety texture of these eye pencils make them readily blendable. Very appropriate for creating smokey eye makeup looks. They are intensely pigmented. I was surprised how even a single stroke gave a superb colour pay off. Some of the shades like purple and green have very sparse same coloured shimmer particles which make the eyes pop and give an extra dimension to the complete eye makeup.

Loreal Le Smokey Eyeliner pencils feel very light on the skin and are completely transfer proof and smudge resistant. They stay on the eyes for 10+ hours. There is only some minor fading from the corners after 9-10 hours. This means that the makeup stays looking fresh all through out the day. Because all these eyeliners set into this gorgeous matte finish, you can work with them as an eye liner, Kajal/kohl or creamy eye shadow. The smudger is pretty workable as its made of a sponge so that precision is maintained while smoking out the liner.

L’Oreal Color Riche Le Smoky Eyeliner Brown Fusion : my personal favourite super intense deep muted brown shade.

As you will notice in the swatches, all the shades are completely matte in finish. They look really fresh to me. These are sure a hear turner once you wear them.
