We have often heard love at first sight. Yes, I instantly fell in love with myself the moment I tried on this lipstick. All thanks to the make-up artist who forced me to try this by saying it is one of the fast selling and most loved color by girls these days. I would have never tried this from the way the color looked in the packaging. Incidentally, I was wearing a black dress and the color just add the ump factor. Since then I have made a rule to wear a white or a black whenever I am going for a lipstick purchase.

How to use MAC Dance with Me Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour

1. Apply to lips using the edge of the applicator for a smooth, sharp shape. Use the tip of the applicator to perfect your application.

In Detail MAC Dance with Me Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Review, Swatches and My Experience

I do not think I would have appreciated this lipstick much until a few years ago. Though one is forced to wear dark colors during and post wedding for work it has always been neutral colors for many of us. Thanks to the internet, I learnt the art of incorporating bold colors in a formal presentable way. MAC being every girl’s dream, I felt happier that with time I evolved and got addicted to the beautiful rainbow of colors that MAC has.

Packaging

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lip Color Dance with Me comes in an acrylic transparent tube with a black colored screw type cap that has MAC written on it.

The transparent tube also has the name of the lip color on it but its easy to spot this lipstick from a pile due to the transparent casing. The cap has an applicator attached which has a soft foot padding in an oval shape. The shape of the applicator makes it easy to define the lip color and then fill the lips with the color.

Texture, Pigmentation, Shade, Finish

The lipstick is creamy textured and glides on easily. It is highly pigmented to show the actual color in a single application. They are easy to apply they don’t tug during application. It can be applied directly or using a brush.

The color is a beautiful maroon toned red and it feels so rich. The color looks tomato red color in the packaging and I always used to feel that it’s too bright for me.

It’s truly a bridal color which must be with every girl who gets married. Its brightens up the face instantly and the color is so rich that it suits all complexions. MAC liquid retro matte lipsticks does not feel heavy on the lips they settle quickly to offer a nice matte look.

Staying Power

The lipstick does not bleed and stays until removed. It does not transfer and remains intact after drinks and food too. Again, to remove it completely one needs to use a wet wipe or a makeup remover.

As such there are no fragrances in the lipstick and being such a popular color its mostly out of stock. But I totally advice you to grab your hands on this one whenever its available. All in all, it’s a very pretty shade and a must-must have for all girls.
