Nykaa Ultra Matte Lipstick Cleopatra 08 Review, Swatches: Hello Beauties! Its been long that I have not written a post on lipsticks. I am crazy about lipsticks and have multiple of them in every single formula and shades. Today I chose to review my favourite lipsticks (formula wise) from Nykaa. Its been a while since Nykaa has launched these lipsticks called Nykaa Ultra Matte lipsticks I have 4 shades from this range and I love them all to the core.

I am really impressed with nykaa that they are coming out with such an amazing and exciting products with array of shades as well as they are not heavy on pockets. The shade I am reviewing today is one of my favourite amongst the four I own, it is named as cleopatra which is from their newly launched shades. In Detail Nykaa Ultra Matte Lipstick Cleopatra 08 Review, Swatches and My Experience

Nykaa Ultra Matte lipstick comes packed in a color coded rectangular cardboard box with every necessary information printed on it beautifully. I love its outer packaging as well as its inner packaging.

The lipstick comes packed in a beautiful rectangular huge lipstick bullet. The cap has a magnetic closure which sometimes gets open in my handbag that’s why I prefer shut lock caps rather than these magnet ones.

The cap is color coded which makes really easy for me to identify the shade in my lipstick box. Also the color coded sticker is glued on the bottom of the lipstick which bears shade name and number. Overall I am quite impressed with its packaging. However, I wish nykaa should change its magnetic closure to a shut lock cap.

The lipstick has a floral fragrance to it which ia not bothersome at all and it does not lingers much.

These Nykaa Ultra Matte Lipsticks comes in total of 18 shades and as I mentioned above I have 4 of them. The shade I am reviewing today is named as Cleopatra. It is really amazing and innovative that nykaa has named their lipsticks inspired by iconic women. So, this shade is inspired by a Egyptian ruler Cleopatra whom we all are aware off.

Nykaa Cleopatra 08 Ultra Matte Lipstick

08 Cleopatra is a beautiful dark berry shade that would definitely suit all skin tones. Fair, medium or deep. I absolutely love the shade as it instantly brightens up the face. Also my teeth looks whiter when I apply this shade. But I cannot wear this shade at day time as it is a little dark. Hence, for evening and night out it is the best shade.

The texture of the lipstick is little drying and does not apply that easily and smoothly on lips. It takes a little pressure to apply, because of its matte texture.

For girls with dry lips, a proper exfoliation and moisturisation is compulsory or else it will accumulate on dry patches and will not look that good. I don’t have dry lips so for me it works perfectly fine you all can see in my lip swatch pictures.

The nykaa ultra matte lipstick cleopatra is very pigmented and needs only 1-2 swipes to get the opaque colour on the lips. Moreover it can easily hide pigmented lips.

Nykaa Ultra Matte Lipstick Cleopatra is not transfer proof and smudge-proof. It does transfer. However without a meal it stays for 4-5 hours on my lips. After having heavy meals the lipstick fades from the centre of my lips.

On transferring it does not looses its intensity so its a big thumbs up according to me. The lipstick leaves a good stain on the lips after fading away completely so removing it will be tough task and also time consuming.

1. Exfoliate your lips with a toothbrush and apply a good hydratung lip balm and than use it for best result
2. Line your lips first with a lip liner for precise application.
3. Please do not carry this lipstick without its outer packaging in your handbag because its magnetic cap tends to open up and can create a huge mess.
