In Detail SUGAR Grand Finale Matte Setting Mist Review and My Experience

Sugar makeup finishing mist rests in a rectangular cardboard box. It has its standard graphic face printed on the outer box and it has all the necessary information regarding the mist printed as well on the box. The actual mist is poured in a very unique structured spray bottle as you can see in the image below. It just has brand name and range name printed on front of the bottle. It also comes with a small cap which closes with a shut lock ensuring that the mist is travel friendly.

The spray mechanism sprays the right amount of mist with each spritz. Overall the packaging of the mist is very average and simple but I do like it as it has a very uniquely structured bottle as well as its outer carton is attention grabbing.

It has a very weird kind of a fragrance I am actually not a fan of its smell. If you have used loreal’s infalliable makeup setting spray the smell is exactly like that which I hated. Hence the smell vanishes within a minute of spraying and does not bothers me much.

The texture of the Sugar finishing mist is like water. The colour of the mist is transparent, it has no colour to it. I like to use the Sugar finishing mist after applying my makeup and also apply my eyeshadow by wetting my brush with it to get the maximum color payoff.

The finishing mist does not feel greasy on the skin as I have extremely oily skin. It is light weight. It gets quickly absorbed in the skin and leaves no traces of the product or blotchy patches on the skin when sprayed.

Even though Sugar Cosmetics Grand Finale Matte Setting Mist claims to impart a matte finish, the resultant effect is not drying kind of a matte finish. It gives a nice radiant look to the face which I love and it can also be used by all skin types girls wheather dry or sensitive.

My skin did not break out after using it. I do my makeup and spritz this mist all over my face and than press it with my beauty blender to get rid of all powder and lock in my makeup.

It keeps the makeup fresh for about 4-5 hours, post which my face starts looking a bit shiny especially my t zone. If the weather is cool the wear time is more, and I am talking about winters. If using in summers which I didn’t it can make oily skin more oilier as time goes.

Always apply a glittery or metallic eyeshadow by wetting a brush first with a makeup finishing mist to get the maximum color payoff and also it reduces fallouts.

It can also be used to freshen up face if face feels dull and tired.

Although the amount provided is just 60 ml which is very less for the price being paid considering it is a drugstore brand.
