In Detail Sugar Ace Of Face Foundation Stick Review, Swatches and My Experience

The Sugar Ace Of Face Foundation comes in a pretty printed rectangular cardboard box. The box bears every important information related to the product. Its price, shade, ingredients etc. All Sugar Cosmetics products have the same outer cardboard graphic design which is really cute and attention grabbing.

The actual stick foundation has a very unique packaging. It is a dual ended long and round matte black stick with shade name number and sugar logo printed. It has the foundation on one end, while a mini kabuki brush at the other end. The kabuki brush is meant to blend the foundation. Both the ends are secured with the shut lock cap which closes really tightly.

The inner packaging of the foundation is very stiff and sturdy and can be carried along easily in handbags. Overall I am very much impressed with its packaging.

This foundation comes in a total of 21 shades. Initially, there were just 5 shades. Recently sugar launched 16 more shades to this range for all skin tone girls. The shade which I am reviewing today is 30 chococcino.

Before I used to use the shade 40 Breve. But that was a little bit yellow for my skin tone. The shade choccocino is one tone lighter for my skin tone. It may be the exact match for girls with MAC NC 40 skin tone.

I make the shade chococcino work by contouring my skin and that way it looks fine. It has a faint floral smell which is not over powering at all.

The small kabuki brusk attached to it does the job of blending very well. I draw some random lines on my face and than buff my foundation with the given brush and it do its work pretty nicely. It blends in the foundation very smoothly without giving any streaky look like some buffing brushes do. However, I notice that due to the small size of the kabuki brush it takes a lot of time for blending. When I am in a hurry, I use my trusty Pac Buffing Brush.

The texture of this foundation is awesome. It is really creamy and buttery. When drawn on face, it melts onto the skin by its warmth like butter. The formula of this foundation is little thick but upon application, it melts and feels very light on skin. Also, does not feel heavy at all.

The finish it provides is semi matte, I have extremely oily skin and it did not make my skin more oily. Hence, it will suit all skin types- oily, dry, combo etc.

The pigmentation of sugar stick foundation is OMG. This stick foundation is highly pigmented. It is a full coverage foundation and does not clog my pores as I have acne prone skin. You need to go very light handed while applying this or you may end up applying a lot of it. I also sometimes tone down its coverage but swiping it lightly onto my face and blend it with my beauty blender.

It’s definitely a full coverage foundation. You can apply and blend one layer of it and then see if you need more coverage in some areas. You can go for another layer in those areas.

This foundation is semi matte but never looks dry and caky at all. I applied this foundation at my cousins marriage. The time I applied it, it was 7.00 PM in the evening and by 2.00 AM at night it was still intact. However, my nose area was looking a little shiny and it did creased a bit under my eyes.

If you have dry skin you may not need to set it up with a loose powder heavily. But oily skin beauties please set it with a good mattifying powder.

The staying power of it is amazing and once it is set it will not transfer on your phone while talking (I hope you all are understanding what am I trying to explain.)
