In Detail Aroma Magic Blossom Kochhar Mineral Glow Scrub Review, Swatches and My Experience
The scrub comes in a tube packaging with a screw on cap (that some people may think to be a bit cumbersome – but then leakage is completely prevented that way). The white tube has pretty floral design printed on a patch and that looks so quaint!
The product itself, is a faint mint in colour – and smells a bit like that too. At first instance, it is difficult to see any scrub granules in the product. Rather, it looks like a cream that has a soufflé-like texture.
But don’t be fooled, this is possibly the most gritty scrub that I have ever come across. It almost instantly disappears on wet skin and yet you can feel the sand-like gritty particles when you massage. This is an awesome property for those who have oily skin and therefore stubborn clogged pores or blackheads.
Just a little bit – maybe the size of an almond – is enough for the whole face and neck area. The concentration of the scrub particles is pretty high – so that produces a good amount of friction against the skin. I think this makes it great for even men to use it on their tougher facial skin.
And despite its power-packed scrubbing particles, the product will never agitate your skin – no rashes, redness or anything whatsoever. Those with sensitive skin may have to be careful though.
How I Use it
I cleanse my face thoroughly with a bit of cleansing milk (because I have combination skin). Then splash my face a few times with tepid water to sort of open the pores a bit. While it is still damp, I squeeze out a coin-sized amount and apply it on my face. I massage my face in circular movements using my fingertips. I then let the product stay for 5-7 minutes and wash it off with water.
Using this product after a day out in the sun is a must for me. I’ve tried it as a mask with and without exfoliating afterwards and both ways my skin felt super smooth and renewed.
Effects of Blossom Kochhar’s Aroma Magic Mineral Glow Scrub
I have been using the Aroma Magic Mineral Glow Scrub for almost two months now. And boy am I floored! My nose – that was earlier a minefield of blackheads has a creamy smooth texture now – and so does the rest of my face. Because the exfoliation is so thorough, given the gritty texture of the scrub, I have noticed an inner glow returning to my complexion.
I have also noticed that lines around my mouth and lips have reduced. Every time I use this, my skin actually feels and looks brighter. So much so I sometimes use this scrub as part of my weekly pedicure ritual too – and also on my elbows!

MBF Advises
Use this scrub on damp, not fully dry, skin. Massage into skin with a really light hand in clockwise motion for five minutes and let it sit. Then dampen your fingertips with warm water and again massage in anticlockwise motion. Rinse off after letting it sit for another five minutes.
