In Detail ELF Studio Powder Blush Palette Dark Review, Swatches and My Experience

Elf palette comes packed in a black square thick paper box which has all the necessary information regarding the product printed on it. The actual blushes are housed in a matte black square case which has 4 pans where four different colored blushes rest. Also there is no information provided on its case just a range name and a brand name printed that’s it.

It has a black lid which closes with a click and hence it is travel friendly and can be carried along easily without any worries. Overall I really loved it’s packaging in terms of price I have paid it is luxe, sturdy as well as stiff and most importantly it’s travel friendly.

These blushes comes in 2 shades and the shade which I am reviewing today is Dark.

These blushes has a beautiful texture it’s so soft and smooth. It goes on the skin very smooth and there is no wastage of product, whatsoever. They blend onto the skin seamlessly and look extremely beautiful.

No matter what skin color you have, the colors in this palette will look amazing on you as it has universally flattering shades.

The blush palette has 4 shades where 3 shades are matte and one is shimmery.

The shimmery shade looks like Nars Orgasm blush to me. The upper shade is light peach color which does not look that prominent on my skin as it is little light. The next shade is dark pink color which is very beautiful and will look good on all skintone. The bottom two shades are peachy pink and both look quite similar as you can see in swatches only the difference is that one is matte and the other one is shimmery.

Coming down to the pigmentation, the blushes are superbly pigmented, you just need one dip and you are good to go.

It is better to always dust off the excess before layering it on your skin, or you are just going to end up looking like a clown! You can over do the darker shades, but the pink are color you need to be very careful with as that is very pigmented.

I haven’t noticed any wear-off’s with this blush it stays put for a good 7-8 hours, which I think is more than enough. I give it a thumbs up for good staying power.
