Time and again we have dipped into the bounty of nature to enhance, maintain and restore our beauty and health. It is with this philosophy that Garnier also bottles the goodness of five herbs – namely, Green Tea, Lemon, Henna, Aloe & Eucalyptus to revitalize weather-ravaged or product-damaged hair. I used it too – and this is my verdict on the Garnier Ultrablends Revitalizing Shampoo with 5 Precious Herbs…

In Detail Garnier Ultra Blends 5 Precious Herbs Revitalizing Shampoo Review and My Experience
The shampoo comes in a light green colour flat plastic bottle with a golden cap. The shampoo is also a faint pastel greenish in colour which indicates the presence of herbs. This shampoo contains the benefit of 5 precious herbs – lemon, henna, green tea, aloe and eucalyptus. They are known for Anti-oxidant power. Anti-bacterial property, Moisture, Shine and Conditioning. This herbal blend brings together soothing moisture of aloe vera, gorgeous shine from lemon, conditioning of henna, eucalyptus’s anti bacterial properties and green tea’s anti oxidants with hair vitalizing properties.
All the ingredients are great to keep hair fresh and clean. Due to the presence of these amazing herbs, it smells lovely. I can smell a strong fresh lemon fragrance which is so good – very refreshing and invigorating. I can’t explain how much I like this strong pleasant fresh fragrance. It makes my hair smell good for long and also reduces my stress with this great smell. The shampoo comes in normal medium texture, it is more on the thinner side and it glides smoothly on hair and scalp.
How I Use it
I just lather it on wet hair, massage into scalp and leave on for 2 minutes and then rinse.
Effects
The shampoo lathers perfectly with small amount of product. However, it took me a couple of washes to figure out exactly how much shampoo do I use. I oil my hair before shampooing, and a dime-sized amount did not clean all the oil out and the other time, an excess of the shampoo left my hair frizzy. Keep in mind that I did not follow up with a conditioner/serum. Overall, it is quite affordable and was a decent one to use. It didn’t fair as well on me as my trusted regular ones, but it did the cleansing job well. Might reserve this one to the times when I need a through cleanse. You will mostly need to use a conditioner after this one. I suggest you pick up the smaller bottle to make up your mind first.

Nice, Aarti! I like the detailed review and that Garnier is going the herb way too. 🙂
Thank you Shruti! Though I am not entirely convinced about the herbal bit…They may have gone off parabens, but they do still have sulphates :/
I was so looking forward to trying this , but I think I will give it a miss since even though my scalp is oily , my hair tends to be dry .Thanks for the review .
