I’ve been using the MAC studio sculpt foundation for almost 3-4 months. I can now share my experience with it. Let me mention I have a dry skin. I went into the MAC cosmetics store in Kolkata Forum Mall. I asked them to give me a product which is best suited for dry skin. They gave me this and I’m happy I used this.

How to Use MAC Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation

1. Apply to face using a sponge or foundation brush.
2. Blend with fingers, sponge or brush.

In Detail MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation SPF 15 Review, Swatches and My Experience

Unlike other foundations from MAC, it comes in a tube form with a rubberised cap. I don’t prefer rubberised caps or packing as the fingerprints tend to look ugly on them. But apart from that I am happy that this is a travel friendly packing with no hassles of buying a separate pump etc like the MAC studio fix foundation.

The foundation is a gel-based as well as creamy. When exposed to hot climates for prolonged periods, the transparent liquid tends to separate and seep out first when the tube is squeezed. But when I shake it well before use this problem is solved.

How I Use it

I use a wet beauty blender to apply the product on my skin. I take a little bit of the product on the beauty blender first and then start applying. My suggestion is take a little and use. Anyway you will not be needing much of the product for your full face. That’s what I love about this foundation.

Effects

It is good for dry skin girls out there. It does not make the skin dry out further. I feel this foundation is nothing less than perfect. After applying this I do not feel any heaviness on my skin. It feels like second skin (which is the best part). Also the product blends into the skin seamlessly. You can use a brush or a beauty blender for applying it.

It conceals light to medium dark circles. I cannot comment on how it works with acne because I do not have any (Fingers crossed) It is build-able according to how much coverage you want.

It did not cause any breakouts on the skin. The staying power is very nice. It stays put throughout the day. I didn’t feel the need to use any powder on top of it to make it stay. It looks perfect even at the end of the day.

The last but not the least reason I love this is that it has SPF 15 in it. So I do not need to use an extra sunscreen beneath it.
