In Detail theBalm Manizer Sisters Mary Cindy Betty Lou Manizer Palette Review and My Experience
I am so excited to share this review with you guys. The individual full sized highlighters retail for $24.00 however the balm put all the 3 highlighters in a single palette for $28.00 which I guess is a total steal! I love all the 3 shades and to have all of them in a single palette makes me super happy. The palette is quite compact and travel friendly. Its based on a cardboard which makes it really lightweight too. The product speaks quality. These highlighters have a really rich, smooth and buttery texture. They are super blendable and provide a gorgeous glowing or luminous finish on the cheeks. They are incredibly pigmented and these small 3 gram pans are going to last me a very long time. Without much ado, lets jump into the individual highlighter reviews
The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Review
This is the original lou manizer which started it all. theBalm describes it as a “honey-hued” shade. Its the palest highlighter among all. I will describe it as a light, gold-champagne shade with warm undertones and a soft, pearly sheen. Gives a beautiful luminous glow on the skin. This one does have a lot of shimmers but they are super finely milled and give it the glowing property. The wear time of Mary Lou Manizer was approximately 8 hours on my skin.
After the huge success of this particular highlighter shade, theBalm came up with the next two shades. The best part is, now we have them all in one single palette!
The Balm Cindy Lou Manizer Review
Cindy loumanizer is in fact the shade with least shimmery finish amongst the 3. It has a peachy pink hue to it which means sometimes you don’t need to wear a blush separately and this is enough to give the cheeks a soft glowy pink blush look. The shimmers in it are pink based and give a gorgeous soft glow on the skin. I mostly use it when I don’t want the highlight to be extremely obvious but still I want a little soft satiny glow going on. The colour pay off is good. It lasted around 7 half hours on my skin.
The Balm Betty Lou Manizer Review
theBalm says you can “score a faux, sun-kissed glow” with this shade. It is a bronzed out golden brown shade with warm undertones and super glowy and luminous finish. This highlighter has intense pigmentation and the shimmers are in fact gold based. This can be used by all skin tones depending on the type of makeup one is putting on. The is PERFECT for a bronzed-glowy look. (Remember Aisha deol in Dhoom Machale Dhoom original song? :P) This lasted the longest on me i.e. for about 9 hours.
I cannot recommend this palette enough. Whether you are a professional makeup artist or a make up enthusiast like myself, trust me this is going to be a life saver if you are a fan of glowy or dewy finish makeup looks. With this incredible finish, it sure beats some of our old favourite highlighters. I just want to thank theBalm for coming up with all these 3 shades in a single palette.

CONs of theBalm Manizer Sisters Mary Cindy Betty Lou Manizer Palette
1. theBalm products are not directly or easily available in India.
1. If you are into glowy or luminous makeup, definitely check this palette out.
2. Always try to pick a lesses amount of highlighter on the brush initially and then build it up.
3. I do not catergorise these shades based on skin tones because honestly all would suit all the skin tones but highly depends on the kind of look one is going for.
