Nyassa Bubblegum Lip Balm Review

Hello My beautiful friends! Its been raining non stop in Delhi for 2 days now and the temperature has finally come down. In fact I had to use a thin blanket last night to sleep with a fan on. I am totally loving this! Welcome monsoon. 🙂

Today we have a review of a lip balm which by the name itself sounds yummy and reminds us of our school days when we couldn’t have enough of candy flavoured gums. Its a lip balm with “bubblegum” as its wow factor!

In Detail Nyassa Bubblegum Lip Balm Review and My Experience

Nyassa is a vegan brand that comes up with natural bath and body products. I have a handful of their stuff and so far I have mostly enjoyed using them. This was the first one I reached out to simply because it said “Bubblegum”. Well I used to love LUSH bubblegum lip scrub and this reminds me 100% of it. It comes in a little light candy pink tub with a screw top. Very handy and safe for travel.

The product looks white in colour since it has white beeswax in it. It smells exactly like our good old candy flavoured bubblegum! Remember “Big Babool” or “Boomer”? 😛 It has a very nice balm like consistency which in fact is quite soft as compared to typical wax lip balms. I really like how it has a very fresh flavour to it.

How I Use it

I use it every now and then to moisturise my lips. Usually in the morning after I have had a shower, I apply it on my lips and in the night kind of slather it quite generously.

It makes my lips really soft and smooth. It heals chapped lips when used in good amount for 2-3 days. Though the lip balm doesn’t really stay on my lips for long, it works well still. Till the time I have it on, I keep getting the bubblegum aroma and I absolutely love it! It has in fact been a lovely little lip balm which I have enjoyed using just wish it was longer lasting. Also, because it comes in a tub, it might be an issue since you need to have clean hands everytime you use it. Other than that, I guess this product is a decent product to try. You will specially love it if you love bubblegums.

1. Tub packaging might not be the most hygienic option to use.
2. I would have loved to know the exact ingredients used for “Flavour”

MBF Advices

1. Always make sure you have moisture on your lips. Chapped lips never make a very good impression.
2. When you’re using this lip balm on the go, sanitise your fingers with a hand santiser to maintain hygiene.

Would I repurchase this?

ummm, I guess I would like to try the other varieties in their collection first. Though I love the bubblegum flavour this has.
