Nykaa Naturals Pure Essential Oil Tea Tree Review: From the time I found out about the effectiveness of tea tree oils on acne, I’ve been a religious hoarder of tea tree oils. A few months back, while browsing through the products on Nykaa, I came across this whole range of essential oils they have launched.

Nykaa Naturals Pure Essential Oil Tea Tree Review

The Nykaa Essential oils range consists of Lavender, Citronella, Ylang-Ylang, Peppermint, Lemongrass, Rosemary and Tea Tree Oils. But among all these, my eyes automatically zeroed on the Nykaa Tea Tree oil. Therefore, I jumped at the chance to purchase it. So here’s what I think of it!

About Nykaa Tea Tree Oil

How does Tea Tree Oil Works

  • The oil from the tea tree heals the blemishes and sucks out the impurities from the face.
  • The cleansing power of the oil helps the skin to acquire a healthy glow.
  • The tea tree oil also rejuvenates the skin and keeps it hydrated.
  • If applied on the nails, it gives them a glossy, shiny, healthy texture.

In Detail the Nykaa Tea Tree Oil Review, Swatches and My Experience

Nykaa’s Tea tree Oil comes in a tiny 10 mL bottle, dark blue in colour, with a dropper attached to its lid. The dropper helps to control the amount of the oil that you pour on the piece of cotton.

Also, the box in which the small bottle comes states that the oil is “100% vegetarian” which means that the product neither uses ingredients from animals nor is the product tested on animals.

The oil is transparent. It has a runny consistency, exactly like that of water. It is very thin and is not sticky. The oil has a strong tangy-earthy kind of fragrance to it. Also it is small enough to fit into a purse. So if you want to carry it with you, there’s no hassle at all.

How I Use It

From the time I started using tea tree oils I’ve never mixed them with carrier oil. But since I cannot apply it undiluted, I use rosewater instead. I pour a couple of drops of rosewater on a piece of cotton. Then I add a few drops of the Nykaa Tea Tree oil on that same piece of cotton. I apply it to the affected areas by rubbing the cotton over them in small circular motions.

I always apply it before I go to bed because it seeps into the skin while I sleep and gives me the best results. And in certain cases I’ve even seen a drastic change overnight!

Effects

After applying the Nykaa Tea Tree oil, my acne has shown great improvement. The pimples disappear in about two days. My skin feels clean and light and the glow it adds is pretty. Sometimes when I get the time, I apply it on my nails and they stay shiny and clean for about a week and a half, before I have to apply again.

  1. Hi mam..I purchased it some days ago ..but I use it with alovera gel and sometimes with forest essential night cream..is it fine?? I mean to say you said that we should use it with regular oil but I can’t use any oil due to my acne prone skin..so if you kindly tell me that my way of using is right or wrong I will be glad..thank you in advance

  2. Nice review but you should dilute it in some carrier oil or gel. Using rose water is not a good option, as water and oil can’t be mixed so the essential oil here is still undiluted. Also, undiluted essential oil evaporates very quickly so it will not be absorbed into the skin and will not serve the very purpose it is used for. One more thing, using undiluted essential oil, can make you sensitized to that specific essential oil and you will not be able to use the same oil later, even if it is diluted properly.
