In Detail SUGAR Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick Scarlett O’Hara 01 Review, Swatches and My Experience

Packaging

It comes in green color cardboard box with all the detailing and shade name on it. It has typical crayon which need to be sharpen and results in wastage of product. The lipstick is shelled in black crayon which has the black cap on it with colour coded bottom half.

Texture and Finish

It is buttery texture and glides smoothly on lips , being a super matte in finish is doesn’t tugs or pulls while application. It goes matte in single swipe.

Pigmentation

Superbly pigmented which goes fully opaque in single swipe. The best part is it don’t look patchy in multiple swipes also.

Longevity

It stayed for 5 hours on my lips with drinking and light snacking which is incredible. The lip crayon in fact remains transfer proof during the said time period but once I had my meals, it started transferring on my tumbler and spoons and everything that touches my mouth. Also, it slowly faded completely from inner corners and centre of my lips and as the time passes it leaves a prominent stain on my lips which ultimately I have to remove with makeup remover.

Overall

Scarlett O’Hara is beautiful red with blue undertones in it. In fact, it can be compared with famous MAC Ruby woo which I think every woman in the world love. Overall, I am in love the formula of the lipstick. It is super easy to apply without drying. It feels little heavy on lips but still very comfortable to wear. Being a creamy matte lipstick it sets to a velvet matte finish similar to any liquid to matte lipstick appears. The formula remains transfer proof till the time oily or greasy food touches the mouth. However, an oily meal definitely breaks down the product and lipstick starts to transfer.
