Fresh Soy Face Cleanser Review, Demo: Hi everyone, today I am here to talk about another face wash from Fresh that I have been enjoying lately. It is basically advertised as a “Makeup Removing Face Wash”. I am someone who loves products which can multitask, so I was particularly keen on exploring more about this.

Now, this is a different kind of cleanser. Not our usual face wash let me tell you that. Let me tell you more about it as well as my experience using this below.

In Detail Fresh Soy Face Cleanser Review, Demo, Swatches and My Experience

The packaging of Fresh products is always rather simple yet functional. It is a pretty average looking white opaque tube with descriptions written on it. If the product inside is great, a down to earth packaging like this is always welcome.

The fresh soy cleanser has a creamy gel like consistency. It has an unusual smell to it which is not particularly pleasing. But it isn’t very strong. Goes away completely once I am done washing my face. The soy cleanser does not really lather up much. It just creates this minimal slightly creamy lather which is just enough to get the job done.

How I Use it

I have been using this cleanser as my daily morning cleanser. I just take a big pea size amount of it and gently massage it all over my wet facial and neck skin. After about a couple of minutes, I wash it off with normal temperature water. I also used this for “dry washing my face”. This is a new method of washing my face that I have been trying out lately. Really been liking it so far.

Another thing, I also tried using this as a makeup cleanser. I just splash my face with water, and then take a dime size amount of this. I do have to massage quite a bit in order to remove the makeup.

Effects

I really like how this cleanser works on my skin. It removes all the dirt and impurities from the skin without leaving it dry and stretchy. It performs really well as a cleanser. I used this the normal way, like wetting my face and then using the cleanser as well as for “Dry Cleansing”. Both the ways it worked well. But I personally like the effects of dry cleansing a bit more.

Because this cleanser it pH balanced, I can skip the toner sometimes. For example while travelling, when I want to take minimum number of products along, I can skip the toner because this cleanser is already slightly acidic and won’t leave my skin alkaline. (In general however I do suggest you to use a toner after cleansing).

This is able to remove almost all the makeup. It removes all the base makeup, eye makeup as well as normal lipsticks. However I feel this is not able to perform a 100% when it comes to removing waterproof and long staying makeup like liquid lipsticks. I will show you guys more in the Demo pictures below.

Final Verdict

I think I really like this cleanser for my daily routine face cleansing. It has all the good qualities that I look for in a daily face cleanser. It has never caused any irritation on my skin because this has mostly all natural ingredients. However I am disappointed that it contains phenoxyethanol.

It cleans the skin well. Doesn’t leave the skin feeling dry or dehydrated. Also removes most makeup. Although I have to use makeup removing wipes before using this cleanser in order to get rid of all the makeup on my face. I also appreciate the fact that fresh came up with a pH balanced cleanser. Not a lot of brands pay attention to such fine details while coming up with such products.

I feel this would suit almost all skin types. I don’t see why any skin type should avoid using this. If you can get your hands on this, definitely do give this a try. Its completely worth the money I feel. A little goes a long way.

1. Does not remove long staying waterproof makeup formulas completely.
2. Contains some chemicals too. So not totally natural.
3. Not a heavy duty cleanser. But works amazing as a regular routine cleanser.
4. Costly.

Please go through my blog post “What is Dry Washing or Dry Cleansing? The best method of Face Washing Ever?“. I have talked more about cleansers while talking about my favourite way of cleansing my skin. I am currently obsessed with Dry Cleansing and I have been loving using this face wash for dry cleansing. Not that I don’t like using any other face wash this way, just that I like how this performs on my skin. Cleans, doesn’t make it dry as well as leaves it feeling soft.

Because this is a costly product, I would advise you to get a smaller size first. I mean make sure you really like how it works for you before you go and invest in a big sized product.
