Garnier Hydra Bomb Super Hydrating Replumping Tissue Serum Mask Review: Hey guys, Garnier recently launched their Sheet or Tissue masks and being a sheet mask junkie, I went and got the 3 variants available currently. Today, I am going to talk about the super hydrating one.

Garnier Hydra Bomb Super Hydrating Replumping Tissue Serum Mask Review

You may have seen this one before in other countries by the name of “Garnier skin active Moisture Bomb Super Hydrating Revitalising Tissue Serum Mask“. I did compare the ingredients list of the two and it was exactly 100% same. Therefore, the “Garnier Moisture Bomb” as well as the “Garnier Hydra Bomb” are one and the same thing. Only retails under slightly different names in different countries. Let’s move on and know about my experience with this mask below.

In Detail Garnier Hydra Bomb Super Hydrating Replumping Tissue Serum Mask Review and My Experience

The garnier hydra or moisture bomb mask comes in a fairly simple packaging. A light blue colour plastic packet with elaborate details on the back. Upon opening, you will see a folded sheet mask luxuriously soaked in serum. The mask itself is actually made of this tissue cloth. This tissue cloth is layered over a blue coloured layer. The blue thing works as a scaffolding so that the tissue cloth is easier to unfold when you are going to use it. I think the packaging is quite nice. You can have a couple of these masks in your purse because all you need is 15 minutes for it to work.

The serum doesn’t smell great. Well, it doesn’t smell too offensive either. The smell is okay, you probably won’t even notice it if you don’t think about it. The serum is super silky in texture and feels very rich.

How I Use it

I carefully unfold the tissue mask, remove the blue layer and place the white tissue mask on my cleansed face. Always make sure your face is clean before using any face mask. This ensures that the mask delivers maximum efficacy on the skin. The mask fits my face nicely, although it is a little big mostly around my mouth. But I am we can adjust it a little bit because everyone’s face shape is slightly different. I let the mask sit on my skin for around 25 to 30 minutes. Although 15 minutes will do, but the mask doesn’t feel dry in 15 minutes. So I let it sit till it feels fairly dry. Then after removing it, I gently pat my skin so that any serum on my skin gets distributed evenly.

Effects

Immediately after, my skin feels very plump and full of moisture. I mean, its like this mask actually made my skin drink lots of moisture. Skin feels very nice and smooth to touch. Because of the lovely hydration, skin looks radiant as well. Now coming to the best part, the hydration lasts for upto 3 complete days. That actually is pretty amazing for me. I have never really used a sheet mask whose effects last for that long. So naturally, this one stands out. I have combination skin, and whenever I use this, there are absolutely no dry patches to be seen anywhere on my skin. In fact, if you do makeup after using this mask, your makeup will definitely look so much more even and smooth.

Because I got 3 Hydra bomb masks, I have actually really tested this one out well. It never gave me any breakouts or caused any irritation on my skin. I think, its super hydrating powers come from Sodium Hyaluronate aka hyaluronic acid which is a known angel for dry skin. It retains moisture and prevents dryness. Secondly, xanthum gum has hydrating properties as well.

Overall Verdict

I honestly feel this is a saviour for dry skin beauties. I got combination skin and I love this so much. Also, its effects last on me for upto 3 days which is amazing. However, I am not sure how this will work for oily skin beauties. This can be anyone’s goto pre-makeup skin prep mask for sure though. Garnier recommends using this mask three times a week. But I guess twice a week is quite enough specially for combination skin type. I would definitely recommend you go and check it out. I mean, who doesn’t like plump hydrated and healthy looking skin.
