Kama Ayurveda Sensitive Skin Cleansing Foam is a light brown colour liquid that has watery consistency. It has mild sandalwood fragrance that is non over powering. The cleansing foam comes in a wide transparent plastic bottle with a white colour pump. The pump further has a transparent cap. The bottle has a light green and golden colour sticker that has complete details of the product like usage, ingredients, shelf life etc.

Usage & Effects

It’s always advisable to shake the bottle slightly and then press the pump to get a nice white colour foam. I have noticed that whenever I pressed directly, only a watery consistency came out with very little foam. I have often thought that the pump is not working fine until I realised the correct usage of the same. One pump is sufficient to clean the face and neck thoroughly and any left overs of makeup, dust or dirt gets removed thoroughly.

There is no itching or irritation while using the foam on the face. Also after the face is rinsed, the skin feels, squeaky clean and supple without any form of dryness. The quantity will surely last me for 3 months easily with regular usage.

Overall

The sensitive skin cleansing foam has 2 years of shelf life and is easily available across all Kama Ayurveda stores. Apart from the Sandal wood oil which causes the fragrance, the face wash also contains aloe Vera leaf juice and calendula extracts. All the ingredients are effective in protecting skin from any form of irritants and provide coolness to the skin.

The face wash is suitable for hot, humid climatic conditions where in the skin behaves weird and often one experiences redness, flaking or irritation. It also works well on the pimple or acne that appears out of the blue to soothe the same and bring the skin to normal conditions. It’s a little expensive though.
