In Detail LUSH Snow Fairy Jelly Bath Bomb Review, Demo and My Experience

The bomb comes in a paper packaging if bought separately, I bought this one in a gift box with other products so it came naked, “naked packaging”. Thumbs up for their naked packaging, ones I use the bomb the packaging is only going in the thrash, I feel slightly good about myself for buying lush products and saving the environment a little.

This one is a huge spherical bomb, Weighing almost 200 grams (178 grams to be precise.). The sphere is in a white and pink combo. The outer product is white, with a star and circles design encase the pink, hard and dry jelly. This one had lots of fallout when handling it.

I feel like This one could be a hit or a miss because of its almost medicine like sweet smell.

This bathbomb will leave you smelling like the Candy Princess. The smell is bubble gum sweet, a little too sweet for my liking. Like super super overly sweet, Like candy floss sweet. If you like sweet scents then this is for you, I like more of floral fruity smells.

How I Use it

I filled my tub halfway with very hot water and plopped in the bath bomb. This is a slow fizzer and it says it is on the site as well. Also there is no satisfying fizzing sound. The bath art is amazing though. A traveler, it also rotates every few seconds as it fizzes.

The white part completely dissolved within few minutes and I was left with a big pink chunk of jelly. It says to help it dissolved or play with it, so I ran the water again and held it under it and it quickly dissolved and gave a boost of pink to my bath water. There were still some chuncks that dint dissolve and floated around that I hand smooshed them down. What makes this one jelly bomb is that it has both the fizzing parts that you find in the normal bath bombs and then there is jelly.

Highlights:

  • The water was slightly slimy from the jelly and it made the water thick. Reminds me of marshmallows <3
  • The bathwater is left with gorgeous pastel waters with iridescent glitter that I dint notice in the dry bomb.
  • The water is very slimy slippery making the floor of the bathtub dangerously slippery. i almost slipped.

Having used other bath bombs I knew that after they dissolve they don’t give the overpowering smell so I was fine with the overwhelming scent of the dry bomb. The fragrance was nice and filled my whole bathroom with bubble gum-y goodness..

After a good relaxing soak, my skin felt super soft and smooth. As the jelly smoothens and softens your skin.

It neither tinted my skin or the tub thank goodness for that, who wants to scrub the tub after a relaxing bath? (NOT ME). No residue after I drained the tub.

MBF Advises

1. After the bomb stops fizzing, hold the jelly under running water to help it dissolve, otherwise the jelly will float around for about 50 minutes dissolving very slowing.
2. Don’t rub the jelly against your skin, if you don’t want to emerge out of water tinted pink.
