Maybelline Sensational Liquid Matte Lipstick 08 Sensationally Me Review, Swatches: Hello People, Today I am reviewing a newly launched lipstick from Maybelline. Actually it’s not a very recent product. It has been a couple of months since these lipsticks was launched.

The day I saw these on Nykaa I placed an order instantly. I got two shades from this range named Sensationally Me and Soft Wine. The lipsticks are named as Maybelline Color Sensational Matte Liquid Lipstick.

How To Use Maybelline Sensational Liquid Matte Lipstick

For Solid Lip Color: Glide the application from the center of your lip and follow the contours of your mouth.
For Gradient Lip Color: Apply lipstick in the inner portion of your lips, then blend outwards for blurred look.
For Cheeks: Dot only once on each side of your cheeks. Gently pat around the apples of your cheek with two fingers to blend.

In Detail Maybelline Sensational Liquid Matte Lipstick 08 Sensationally Me Review, Swatches and My Experience

Maybelline liquid lipstick comes in a sleek cylindrical tube with brand and range name is written on the tube. The tube is transparent which makes it easy to spot the shade easily in our vanity. The lipstick name and number is glued at the bottom of the lipstick tube.

The liquid lipstick has a shinny black color twist open cap which closes tightly. Like other liquid lipstick this lipstick also has a doe foot applicator attached to the cap. Overall I like it’s packaging it’s sleek tiny which fits every where and does not require lot of space anywhere it’s lightweight and travel friendly.

The shade I am reviewing is named as Sensationally Me. The shade is a very pretty pink n*de color which suits my skin really well. But for beauties above nc45, this shade may appear like its washing out the complexion.

It’s an everyday wear color and it looks very natural I like to dab it with finger and spread it evenly all over my lips to give that natural flush of color.

The lipstick has a semi thick consistency which is neither very liquid-y nor very thick. Since it is a matte lipstick, it clings to dry patches of the lips. So, it is advised to prep the lips well before applying the lipstick to get healthy and smooth looking lips.

The lipstick does not smear or feather even upon layering. The formula is decently pigmented and requires at least two swipes to get even, smooth and streak free finish. It gives an opaque coverage and hides the pigmentation of my lips as I have pigmented lips.

The longevity of the lipstick is somewhere around 5 to 6 hours on my lips without heavy meals. It cannot survive heavy meals and fades away from the centre of the lips. The lipstick is very easy to remove with a makeup remover wipe and does not stain the lips.

It is an affordable yet amazing quality lipstick one should definitely try this range of lipsticks as it has array of shades to choose from, its pigmented and does not overly dry out the lips like Sugar Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipsticks. I would love to try other shades from this range too.
